It didn't take long for Sarell to find out that Prince Reqiel was completely not in the King's Palace at all, panic starting to set in as he questioned the guards at the doors who denied ever seeing the Prince leaving the palace.

It was at this point that Prince Cederic joined him, his brows low on his head. "Have you found him yet?"

Sarell could feel his blood slowly solidify in his veins, what was he to say if he lost Prince Reqiel? "No, I haven't." He said quietly, the entire length of his braid in his hand which he cruelly but absently pulled on. "The servants say he's not in the palace but the guards didn't see him leave."

"That's impossible, one of them has to be lying." Cederic said coldly, glaring down at the guards. "You better hope it's not you all."

The guards gulped with wide eyes and shared guilty looks but they shook their heads vigorously, not willing to get punished by the Crown Prince.
