Ascending the ladder, it didn’t take long for Zhong Chi to reach an empty room.

As he stepped into the room, a man in armor appeared out of thin air.

“I am the guardian of the first-level inheritance. If you defeat me, you will obtain the inheritance,” the armored man said to Zhong Chi, his words cold and icy, resembling a grim deity.

For some reason, all the opponents Zhong Chi encountered in this place seemed cold and filled with an overwhelming aura of hostility.

Without much time to ponder, his opponent had already charged toward him, launching a fierce attack with a sword, accompanied by a whistling sword light.

“Is this all the strength you possess?”

Zhong Chi could feel the power behind the armored man’s sword strike, even his protective golden light couldn’t withstand it.

Instead of immediately killing the armored man, Zhong Chi allowed him to attack, experiencing firsthand the strength of his opponent.
