Ch. 5 The Black Bulls

After the warm welcome by the Black Bulls Izir whistled while seeing the individuals just causing chaos like it is a normal occurrence, which is probably true. He saw Asta rise up from the ground and shout out his introduction. Looking around he saw that everyone ignored his little brother and inwardly chuckled. He then saw a fireball heading their way, now he could stop it himself but that is no fun so he grabbed Asta by the back of the shirt and tossed him away from the spell, while just tanking it himself. 

Asta - "IZIR YOU OK!" 

Izir - "Yeah I am fine it did not hurt, it just burned off my shirt." he said while emerging from the smoke shirtless showing off his lean muscles and six-pack.

Everyone just kept shouting at one another and breaking more things around the base. From the corner of his eyes he sees Yami raise his arm up and imbue magic into it, but before he could do anything he tapped Yami's shoulder.

Izir - "Let me handle this Captain, just cover your ears real quick cuz I am gonna be really loud." he told Yami who just shrugged and covered his ears.

Izir then stood in front of Yami and Asta and sucked in a bunch of air. 

*RRROOOAAARRR!!!*

He then let out a loud and devastating roar which shook the entire Black Bulls base and made everyone in the base tense up and start to sweat. Once the roar finished everyone looked in his direction, but they saw Captain Yami behind this person they did not know and stormed to his direction instead.

Izir - 'Wow they really just ignored me huh?' he thought while doing a small chuckle.

The Black Bulls crowded Yami and started talking to him all at once.

??? - "MISTER YAMI WELCOME BACK, BOSS!!" said the delinquent with much respect towards Yami.

??? - "Captain this yummy." said the small foodie offering him a muffin.

??? - "Welcome back Captain❤" said the sexy woman only in her underwear. Izir took a quick peek at her backside admiring the view.

The group just kept talking in Yami's face, at first Captain Yami just had a blank face hearing his squad talking in his face.

Yami - "hahaha, I see, I see. You guys like me that much huh?" he said laughing a little, then he had a serious and scary look.

Yami - "But you're annoying! Can it."

Black Bulls - "SORRY!!" they all yelled fearfully.

Yami then got them to sit on their knees next to one another so that he would announce the two new members to the squad.

Yami - "The shrimp is one of our other new members and the other one who is shirtless now which you all heard earlier is another new member. Don't haze them so hard they die, well that is more for the shrimp than the lizard boy." 

Asta got the courage to introduce himself again, now that everyone was not causing chaos this time.

Asta - "I'M ASTA FROM HAGE VILLAGE!! IT'S GREAT TO MEETCHA!!" 

Izir then smacked Asta on the back of the head to tone down the yelling.

Izir - "Tone down the yelling Asta jeez. Hey I'm Izir Zylen also from Hage Village, I am also the shrimp's elder brother." He said introducing himself and also patting Asta's head when he introduced himself as his sibling. He even sent a wink and a smile to the underwear woman which made her blush.

Yami went on to say that they have other members as well but they are either out on missions, on breaks, or just slacking off. 

The underwear woman realized the place that the two new members came from was a tiny place all the way out in the sticks. She then got up and wrapped one of her arms around Izir's shoulder pressing the side of her breasts into his arms which he enjoyed. 

??? - "So you two are from the boonies huh and yet you both got into the Magic Knights you two must have worked really hard right handsome. How about I reward you with a special treat." she said to Izir while whispering the last part in his ear.

As much as Izir would take her on the offer he noticed that she was about to throw up due to hearing earlier that she got black out drunk yesterday. So he grabbed a bucket that was nearby and held it for her and held her hair back so no throw up gets on it.

Meanwhile Asta was approached by the delinquent looking mage.

??? - "You're a new Black Bull?! A wussy little runt from the back end of nowhere? (Asta was shocked by the delinquents' intimidation) I dunno how you sucked up to Mister Yami… But if you want to wear our robes… you gotta earn some respect from me, Mister Yami's top underling, man among men, MAGNA SWING!" 

Izir heard the whole conversation while helping the sexy woman, who he knows now as Vanessa Enoteca. She thanked him for holding the bucket and holding her hair back.

While looking back at Asta and Magna, he saw Asta with stars in his eyes and.. A HAND COMING OUT OF HIS MOUTH WTF! He then heard Magna saying that they both gotta get baptized. 'What that hell does that mean?!' he thought. 

Everyone went outside for the baptizing. First up was Asta, Magna said that he will launch a spell at him and that he can avoid or block it anyway he wants to, if he does that then he will be a Black Bull and be given a robe. 

Izir who was sitting next to Vanessa heard her say that Magna was making up baptizing ceremonies again. So this is a recurring thing huh?

He then saw Magna throw his spell [Flame Magic: Exploding Fireball] heading straight for Asta. He knows Asta cannot just cut through the spell because even if he did he was not strong enough to cancel the spell, only split it in two, in which Asta would still be hit by it.

What he saw next made him proud of Asta even if he knew his body moved instinctively. Asta had rotated his sword so that the flat end was facing him and he used it as a bat and swung it, reflecting Magna's spell right back at him creating a big explosion. 

He knew Magna was ok as he came out of the smoke, he seemed pissed off at first but then started praising Asta. He heard Asta tell Magna that he had no magic, at first he was worried what they were gonna say to his little brother, but he relaxed when he heard Magna call Asta a real man. 

Magna - "Alright now it is your turn lizard boy, I heard you got all the Captains wanting you to join their Squads. Well that doesn't mean anything here so prove to me that you deserve to be in the Black Bulls and I'll give you a robe as well!"

At first Izir wanted to get this over with and just knock out Magna without using magic, but he knew that was no fun since he needed to prove that deserved to be here. So he decided to use one of his new spells he came up with while training with Leona. He raised his magic power a bit since he did not want to scare everyone.

Everyone felt his magic rising and they were shocked since he was from the Forsaken Realm. If they did not hear him say where he was from, they would have thought they had another royal in the Squad.

Somewhere in the Black Bulls base there was a familiar girl with silver hair who was upset as she was placed in the worst Magic Knights Squad. She kept thinking herself a failure just like how her siblings always reminded her everyday of her life. She then sensed a strong magic power, she then looked out the window and the rest of the squad outside but what caught her eye was a familiar black and purple haired person getting ready to use their spell.

[Space Dragon Magic: Gravity Impact]

Izir then shot out a small white ball off into the distance a good 40 ft away from them. Everyone was confused as the ball just started to float up in the air then they saw everything in a 20ft radius just flattened down into the ground and all the trees broke apart due to the pressure that was weighing down on it. 

Izir - "Does this suffice?" he asked as turned back to look at the group.

Everyone ran up to him yelling on how strong he is and how they have two great rookies join their Squad. Magna then nads him his robe. Once he grabbed it and put it on, he punched Magna into the ground.

Izir - "That is for calling me lizard boy."

Magna in the dirt just raised a thumbs and told him that he is a real man which made everyone laugh.

Noelle, who was in the base and saw Izir use a powerful spell, could not help but be amazed by his power and skill with his magic. She was happy that he joined the Squad and also for having someone she knows, maybe not too well but still it made her smile. Now she was thinking of taking him up on his offer to train her in magic control.

Back with the group, Magna let them both know that they are now officially members of the Black Bulls and to never bring shame to the Squad.

Izir - 'Don't they already do that themselves?' he thought with a sweat drop.

Magna then yelled how he will show them a tour of the base. Asta and Magna just bolted straight into base. 

Izir just stood there watching the two leave, until he heard Vanessa say that they did not introduce themselves to the both of them. So he asked if she could introduce everyone.

Vanessa - "Well of course handsome❤️." She then went to introduce everyone, then said person would introduce themselves.

Vanessa - "The short blonde one is Luck Voltia".

Luck - "Hey you are really strong, want to fight?" he said with a battle manic smile on his, which Izir is way too familiar with, he did tell him he would fight him some other time, in which Luck just nodded excitedly like a child.

Vanessa - "The little foodie is Charmy Pappitson".

Charmy - "Hi, you want some nummies la?" she said while munching on a muffin and offering another to Izir, which he accepted and took a bite. He gave her a thumbs up and told her he cannot wait to eat more of her cooking. (He is a dragon so expect the typical protag that is a glutton).

Vanessa - "This here is Gauche Adlai".

Gauche - "Stay away from my sister." he bluntly told Izir, which he just nodded and moved on.

Vanessa - "This here is Grey".

Grey - "FWOOSH" he just blew smoke, in which just smiled and said hey but he also thought, 'That's transformation magic they are using no? I guess he/she is a shy person'.

Vanessa - "Then there is Gordon Agrippa".

Gordon - "Hello, I am glad you joined the Squad. We are gonna be great friends". He mumbled but thanks to Izir's great sense of hearing he was able to understand him perfectly and greeted him back which made him happy.

Vanessa - "We do have another new member but she is probably in the base somewhere. Speaking of want me to give you a tour of the base instead of mister delinquent?" she asked in which Izir gladly accepted since he will be in the company of such a beautiful woman.

Izir - "Well lead the way m'lady." he said bowing a bit allowing her to be ahead to show him around which made her smile and chuckle at his antics.

Vanessa - "What a gentlemen".

First she showed him the dining hall which was huge. Izir questioned why it was so big, even though there are so few members which Vanessa did not have the answer to but made her laugh anyways.

She then showed him the main bath, in which she teased him of taking a bath together which failed as he teased her back saying that he would love to bathe with a woman such as herself, which did get her to blush.

Then it was the Men and Women's room hallways. She showed that the Women's side have traps in case the Men try anything. Izir then teased Vanessa again by whispering in her ear that she can sneak into his room and bed whenever she wants to. Which made her feel a chill and got her blushing again.

Vanessa - 'He is handsome and such a smooth talker, I might see where this will lead to in the future'. 

Then it was the wild animal's room or more like a cage where a bunch of Yami's pets as he would call it were held. The animals were clawing at the gate growling and swiping through the openings. Izir just looked at them and furrowed his brow, changing his eyes to Draconic eyes and baring his own fangs at them growling back at them. The animals were subdued by his intimidation and were more obedient in his presence now.

They both heard a commotion in the other part of the base, but ignored it since it was just the Squad being noisy and chaotic as usual. 

After the tour was over Vanessa brought Izir to his own room. They did walk past Asta and Magna so he saw a glimpse of his little brother's room and he was quite happy that he got a bigger room than his. 

Izir - "Thank you for the tour Vanessa, it was fun learning about the base especially with a beautiful tour guide." he winked at Vanessa when complimenting her.

Vanessa - "Your welcome Izir, now I am gonna head off to bed now goodnight."

Izir saw her leave but before she turned the corner he called out to her.

Izir - "Hey ya know you could just sleep here for the night." he added with a teasing smile.

Vanessa - "Maybe next time, lover boy." she said with a wink then disappeared around the corner.

Izir - 'Well, well, I think I have another person that I am starting to like. I know Leona does not mind as she told me herself she does not care as long as she would be the "Other Alpha" to the harem.' he thought while laying in bed getting ready to turn in for the night.

It was now the morning and the sun was starting to rise. Izir has woken and gone outside to train his hand-to-hand combat that Leona taught him. Once outside he sensed someone using their magic but it felt familiar like a raging sea and he only knew one person with that type of uncontrollable magic power.

He continued deeper into the forest and he looked up and saw a giant water ball coming towards him. He used his magic to control the gravity around the spell and tossed it aside and moved on. When he finally reached a clearing he saw a familiar silver twin-tailed hair girl practicing her magic on a tree with a target on it, but she kept missing as it would go straight but then turn at the last second.

Noelle, unaware of her guest watching, was in her own inner turmoil. In her mind, memoires kept playing of nobles discriminating against her on how she could not control her magic and if she really was royalty. Even her own family kept hounding her on how she is a good-for-nothing, failure and overall embarresentment to the Silva Family. She got tense thinking of those memories and wanting to be acknowledged, her magic then started to rise and getting unstable but before anything happened she heard someone call out to her and she saw a familiar face.

Izir was watching her from a distance wondering why she got quiet. That was when he noticed her magic fluctuating at first before it started to rise to the point of overloading. So he decided to finally announce his presence to make her relax and keep her magic stable.

Izir - "Would you look at that, if it ain't Miss Noelle. I knew I sensed a familiar magic power near here, but to think it was you and that we are in the same Squad to boot." he said walking out of his hiding spot.

Noelle was startled at first and let out a *Kyah*, which Izir thought was cute. She was afraid at first not knowing who it was, but once she turned to look at who it was, she had a smile on her face as it was the same person that noticed her flaw but did not criticize her and even offered to teach her in handling her magic more proficiently and stable. 

Noelle - "Hello peasant, what are you doing in a royal's presence?" she said acting tsun tsun even though in her head she was overjoyed of being in the same Squad as Izir.

Izir - "Oh well I was gonna ask if you wanted to take up my offer to learn how to control your magic, but I do not believe you would want to learn from a peasant so I will be on my way, sorry for disturbing you m'lady." he said while turning back and was walking away with his eyes closed that was until.

Noelle - "WAIT! I do want to learn how to control my magic better. I am sorry Izir for how I acted, I am not used to talking with others or speaking my feelings aloud." 

When Izir heard her response, he opened one eye and smiled. Turning back around to face Noelle.

Izir - "Wonderful! We really need to work on your socializing skills as well in the future." he clapped his hands and said with a teasing smile making Noelle blush.

Izir - "Well we can start training you another day as I can tell you are exhausted and frustrated from using your magic all morning, let us go introduce you to the rest of the Black Bulls. And do not worry about them judging you because of your inability to control your magic, did you forget which Magic Knights Squad we are in?" He told her concerned for her mental health while both of them were walking back to base.

Noelle - "The Worst one?"

Izir - "Exactly! They have a bunch of failures so they will understand your situation better than most.

After he said that he looked at Noelle and saw she had a smile on her face. They both arrived at the base and entered the dining hall. Izir saw everyone was there and wanted to gather their attention so he let out a bit of his magic, making them all turn to the two.

Izir urged Noelle forward, but she seemed stunned and scared because even though he reassured her earlier, it was more frightening when the spotlight was actually on her. Seeing her not talking, he decided he would do it for her, so he put a hand on her head and introduced her even though they may know of her but not her inner turmoil.

Izir - "Everyone as you may or may not know, but this is Noelle Silva of the Silva house. Now she has trouble showing emotions and may act a bit rude at times, but it is due to her never really interacting with others. The big thing is that she has trouble controlling her magic and it is a very touchy subject for her so I will be teaching her at times to control her magic better. I hope everyone can be respectful since everyone here is also considered a failure in another way. If I catch anyone being rude you will be dealing with me alright." He introduced her to everyone and told them about her low social skills and magic control problem and the last part he intimidated them just like how Captain Yami does so that they get the picture.

Everyone nodded their heads and introduced themselves. Magna also says how Izir was right and that they are a group of failures and that a small flaw of hers is no big deal.

Vanessa - "Izir, I can help you with teaching magic control as I am also great at magic control." 'I will also teach her big-girl techniques ❤ ️' she told Izir, wanting to teach Noelle and also get to know Izir better as well. While also thinking of teaching her big-girl things.

Izir - "Great sounds like a plan Vanessa, I will be counting on you." he said winking at her.

Izir just stood in the Dining Hall smiling watching everyone interacting with one another laughing and causing chaos.

Izir - 'They may be called the Worst Magic Knights Squad, but I can tell that they are all great people, yeah they all have their own quirks but who doesn't. I can tell I am gonna be having a lot of fun in this Squad. I also cannot wait for the future fights I will have.'
