Third Person P.O.V
Everything was hazy, and yet, somehow, Kirisu Mafuyu was able to feel something in all this darkness, her body was tired and felt heavy, her eyelids refused to open, but her nose moved a little, sniffing a pleasant smell that she had not smelled for many years and had only recently become reacquainted with.
*Sniff sniff
Her eyes slowly opened, and the first thing he saw was the wall next to her bed, for a few seconds her mind was blank, as if her brain was working to orient itself and remember everything that happened the night before.
And when all her memories finally came back, and she made sense of them, her body shot up from the bed, leaving her sitting up as a name came out of her mouth. "KANAME-KUN!!"
She quickly looked around her trying to find her student, not understanding how she had gotten to her bed if the last time she was awake she had placed the injured boy there to rest.
Her eyes widened when she noticed how different the room looked from her apartment, but there wasn't more time to be surprised when a figure walked through the half-open door that connected her room with the kitchen that was in the hallway at the entrance to her apartment.
Dressed in the same jacket that he had worn yesterday, but now clean, a pair of sweatpants and, above all, a green apron, her student entered her room while he was holding a metal ladle.
"Oh, hello sensei." He greeted her as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
The expression she showed was both worried and confused, but after seeing him there, not showing a hint of pain on his face and seemingly completely fine, the second emotion surpassed the first.
"W-what? H-how?" It was the only thing she could say, not sure what else she might ask.
"Yes, it would be too idealistic to ask if you would believe it was all a dream, right?" Ryuichi said in an embarrassed tone as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Ryuichi P.O.V
After that, the situation proceeded more or less as I expected, Kirisu-sensei was stunned for a whole minute until I managed to bring her back to reality, and then she proceeded to question me.
First about the severity of my injuries, which was resolved quite quickly when I took off the jacket I was wearing and moved the already short sleeves of my t-shirt to show her my arm without any wound.
The only thing that remained from the cuts that almost made me bleed to death were lines on my skin with slight discoloration, almost imperceptible scars from my already healed wounds.
"B-but how is it possible?" She seemed quite shocked by my quick recovery, although it's not like I blame her for that, after all, the last time she saw me I probably seemed closer to death than recovery.
"Remember this?" I said, taking the last vial I had left out of my pocket and holding it in front of her.
"That's just like the ones you drank." She said, looking closely at the object.
"That's right, I know it will sound crazy, but…" I grimaced before continuing. "This thing is a healing potion, the 2 I took yesterday kept me from bleeding out, and today when I woke up I drank 2 more that healed all my wounds"
My teacher slammed her palms on the small table between us. "That's not possible, healing potions? It is not logical!!!" Her voice increased in volume with each word until she finally ended up screaming and hyperventilating.
Her expression seemed annoyed on the surface, but when I saw her eyes somehow I knew what she was really feeling.
Fear, from the monster yesterday, to almost watching a person die in front of you, only for that same person to appear fully recovered the next day, all of these things were shaking the foundations of what she knew as the "real" world.
"Sensei." I said with the most serious tone I could muster, causing her to stop, I looked directly at her and spoke with complete sincerity. "Nothing that happened yesterday was logical, nothing made sense, neither from your perspective nor from mine, that... thing we saw yesterday, I'm sure there are an incredibly high number of biological problems that should prevent something like that from even aspiring to exist, but you saw it too, didn't you?"
My words and their meaning made her shudder, and slowly, as if it were difficult for her to accept that that thing from yesterday existed, she spoke. "Y-you... do you know what that thing was?"
Her question gave me the impression that now she would be a little more open to hearing what I would say, and now that I knew she was paying full attention to my words I was going to try to do damage control.
"I am almost as lost in this whole situation as you, but I can tell you everything I know if you want, no matter how little it may be." I offered, not knowing what else I could do to try and quell her doubts.
She nodded, so I got up from the table. "If I am going to tell you everything then I should start from the beginning, wait a moment please." I asked, leaving the room to turn off the kitchen fire and fill 2 glasses with some barley tea I had made.
When I returned to the table, I left the apron I had used aside and placed a glass in front of my teacher and another in front of me.
She'd probably need something to calm her nerves, and she hoped the barley tea would help, at least a little.
And so, the first normal person I told almost everything I knew was my teacher, from the mysterious paper I found that time, to the boy leaving my apartment and making me faint from shock.
Although after that event, I changed things, avoiding any mention of the chat and saying that simply the day after the incident I discovered some ability that had several uses, and that was why I had started training and that I was able to find her because somehow I could "feel" the people it had interacted with.
And I felt the unpleasant presence of that thing because it was quite close to her and because its energy or presence was much more prominent than that of an ordinary human.
"So you don't know what that thing was?" She asked, looking at me with a clearly nervous expression.
I shook my head a few times. "No, at this point it could be anything, a monster, an alien, a demon, or a government experiment, but in the end, I don't think it matters"
"And you… have powers?" She asked with a grimace of disbelief, as if she couldn't properly process the idea of that happening or didn't like it.
I nodded, letting out a short laugh without much encouragement, and rested both hands on the table while I concentrated.
Since the time I had been able to manifest my ki in the form of a buildup of physical energy, I practiced every chance I had, and now, although not easy enough for me to use in the middle of a fight, it was something I could show without trying too hard.
"!!"
Ignoring Kirisu-sensei's slight sound of surprise and concentrating only on my energy as I did that time in the warehouse, a small sphere of golden-colored ki finished materializing after a few seconds.
Looking at the glow only made me remember how much progress I had made since I started training, and how little my effort against that monster meant, causing me to frown and stop controlling my ki, cutting off the sphere's power source and passing to look at my teacher.
"I don't understand many of the things that happen, but if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that there is much more to this world than any average person can believe." I said and got up, ready to head back home, it didn't matter that I had already talked to Karasuma-san and Touji on the phone, I had to get back home, make sure my brother ate, and then lock myself in my room to think.
"I have to get home, I left enough food made for lunch and dinner today, and don't worry about that... thing from yesterday, tonight I'll make sure it can't hurt anyone else." I said, trying to sound as confident as possible before leaving her room, whether those words and tone were to try to convince Kirisu-sensei or myself, I didn't know.
The thought of something like that roaming around freely was horrible, and the possibility that it could harm more innocent people was even more so.
Once I reached the entrance and turned the doorknob I heard a voice calling me. "Kaname-kun!" I turned my head as I opened the door and saw Kirisu sensei coming out of her room to follow me.
But before she said anything else, her gaze went from me to something behind me, and when I turned to look at it I couldn't help but feel that there was something strange.
Two girls, one with short bob hair and glasses, she looked at me with an expression that seemed surprised for a moment, probably because I had opened the door unexpectedly, although it immediately changed to a neutral one, but her eyes were clearly analytical.
The other girl had the reddest hair I had ever seen, and her expression was clearer than the other girl's, exuding a sense of confidence, but there also seemed to be interest.
For a second everything was silent, their eyes did not take off me, and I was tempted to give them a short greeting and then continue on my way, after all, if they were here they would surely look for Kirisu-sensei, but something inside me told me to use my ki sense, and when I did my skin crawled.
The energies of these girls were similar to that of the spider woman, and in terms of quantity they were even superior to that woman, having at least more than four times all my energy.
All this happened in a period of just 2 or 3 seconds from when our eyes met, but both my ki and my body were already moving.
The first strengthened me from the soles of my feet to the last of my hair, strengthening and improving all my physical abilities.
While the second took a pose ready for both defense and attack, my legs spread apart, and my knees bent slightly, ready to propel me either forward or backward.
My left arm was raised until my hand was at the height of my face, my little finger and ring finger closed in my palm while the other 3 fingers were neither closed nor open, similar to a claw, they were ready to form a fist or spear strike like a form of hasty counterattack, or a palm that would serve to block and deflect.
But my right hand, the dominant one, which should form a fist and be at the height of my floating ribs, moved to form a palm that pointed at the woman behind me, warning Kirisu-sensei not to come any closer.
"Kirisu-sensei!! Stay there, they are like the monster of yesterday!!" I shouted without taking my eyes off the possible enemies before me, and my shout was not only for my teacher to hear, but it was intended for anyone in the building to hear it and come out, drawing the attention of this pair even if only for a second.
If they were distracted, even just for a moment, I could use the Taiyoken, blinding their sight, and then throwing them over the balcony with either a punch to the nose or an upward kick to the jaw.
"We have no intention of entering into conflict." The first to speak was the girl with short hair and glasses as she raised a hand indicating for me to stop my movements, and although I didn't attack immediately, I refused to abandon my pose.
Observing my actions and refusal to let my guard down, both of their eyes narrowed, and this time the redhead was who spoke. "I recommend you not try anything stupid, the building is surrounded, and all the other residents of the building have already been evacuated"
My eyes widened in surprise, logic told me that her words should not be possible, so my ki sense expanded, covering the entire building and even a little more, and I felt like a drop of cold sweat ran down my neck.
There was not a single human presence in the entire building, and just as the redhead had said, there were several presences similar to them at all possible exits of the building.
Perhaps if all those presences were weaker than me and I was alone, I would consider risking stunning these two and trying to escape, but two of that presences had practically the same amount of energy as those in front of me, while all the other presences exceeded the power of an ordinary human by a more than considerable margin, and I refused to leave Kirisu-sensei behind.
'I'm screwed up.' I thought.
X-X-X-X
Well, it's finally here, Ryuichi's meeting with the demons is a fact, and there is no way for him and Mafuyu to run away from this, so this "talk" will happen no matter what Ryuichi wants.
What do you think will happen? Will everyone act in a civilized manner? Will a fight break out? Well, let's wait until Monday to find out.
By the way, I had an unexpected but pleasant burst of inspiration and after writing for a few hours I am currently finishing chapter 25, thanks insomnia.
By the way, does anyone know what's going on with the fanfiction website? I follow some stories but for some reason, I can't enter and the people in charge didn't say anything on the website's Twitter.
Anyway, remember that if you like this story, you can leave a comment, review, and a power stone, that will inspire me to write more, see you in the next chapter.
