“It’s probable. However, if I’m not wrong, you can help him…” Prince Darius said before he smiled hopefully down at me.
I can help Prince Leonard. Me? How?
“But if the doctors couldn’t do anything then…I’m just a maid…so…” I said in broken phrases as I struggled to piece my words together.
“You can at least try to take care of him, right? He saved you and took care of you, don’t you think that it’s time that you repaid his favors?” Prince Darius asked as his eyes captured and held mine.
I had no idea how I could be of help but if Prince Darius believed that I could help then who was I to refuse?
Plus, he was right. I did owe Prince Leonard for saving my life, and on top of that, I haven’t even thanked him yet. If he has some disease or sickness, then the worst that could happen to me was that I would catch it too.
Doesn’t sound so bad…
