Chapter 12
The night immediately took over the sky, and Beta Farkas and Alpha Conri reached their home. They noticed that there was another car parked at the entrance, and it made them wary of who would be their visitor.
Alpha Conri saw a servant doing her night chores and talked to her.
"Whose car is that parked over there?" The Alpha pointed towards the car and turned back to the servant being questioned, "We are not expecting any visitors today."
"Your cousin suddenly came back from overseas, and he said to us that you are expecting him."
He became pale upon hearing the word cousin. Alpha Conri is not fond of any of his relatives coming over and trying to talk to him for they only want to talk about his business and the lineage which he is already fed up with; all of them have already noticed that he is doing a good job of doing it.
But one cousin stood up for him for being carefree and understanding despite being annoying for years: Kalim, his cousin on his mother's side.
