CHAPTER 43 Dead Inside (2)

　　“This can’t be happening. This can’t be fucking happening. How could she tell me to be strong while she makes my life miserable? Your mother is heartless. She has done nothing but put me through hell.” Amelia yelled in tears at Alyx in her mind as she continued running to her destination.

　　Alyx did not say anything, knowing it would be futile. She was glad that Amelia did not come to the idea of asking her to help hasten her walk back to the castle. Otherwise, she was not sure what her response would have been.

　　Amelia arrived almost two hours later at the castle, sweating and panting along with the warriors and Olivia, who kept their distance.

　　She didn’t wait to catch her breath as she raced towards the first figure in her view, yanked his hand, and twirled him around to face her.

　　“Where is he?” she demanded, unknowingly releasing her aura.
