Chapter 19

_Jacob's POV_

she turned around facing me and without a thought she kissed me which send me into a shock releasing my grip around her and leaving her to escape, she ran out of the kitchen and straight outside, the silly me took over and I followed her, I was still mad at her for what she just did, running down I saw a lot of eyes looking at me, I asked one of the guards where she went, as they simply pointed towards the beach,

"where did you run off to" I shouted but there was no reply

"your going to pay for what you did to me back in the kitchen" I shouted again and that's when I heard her chuckle,

I looked to where I thought I heard it come from but there was nothing, I knew she was around but I just couldn't see where, I looked before realizing I could just find her through the bond, allowing my wolf to show me where she was hiding,

I found myself at the beach and her just sleeping there waiting for a wave to come and take her, as if it were possible, no one could swim out of here, it was too hard cause the second you reach the middle you find your self black out and back on shore, one of my witches charms of course

I went and slept next to her on the sandy beach and stared into her but all she did was look up and stare into the open sky

"I have a question for you" I asked her as she turn towards my stare,

"what?" she asked me

"I know you don't trust me still but all I want to know is-" I paused and saw how terrified she was cause she knew what I was going to say, and then I continued,

"have you fallen for me or at least some part of you" I saw her flinch and she broke the eye contact between us,

"why would I answer it when you know the answer will hurt" she replied but when I heard her thoughts it was something else and it made my wolf howl in happiness inside of me,

"you say that but have you forgotten I can hear your thoughts, Mind link" I winked at her as she blushed away,

"fine then since you so badly want to hear my perspective of this relationship" she took a breathe before continuing her sentence,

"I still hate you" she said straight to my face, apart of me fell by her words, my heart stopped beating for just a second

"but you never know what the future holds, I might love you or I might loath you" she said after, I knew she lied to me, her thoughts and wolf said something more different, just had to be patient for her to except the truth and that day was coming I just had a feeling,

I got up from my place and stretched my hand for her as she graciously took it, the second she was on her feet I pulled her towards me,

"this is for what happened in the kitchen" I said right before I kissed her and to my surprise nothing, she didn't slap me or pushed me, she simply gave in and it surprised me, but I wanted to enjoy this so I pushed my thought back and enjoy the moment while it lasted, she finally pushed back catching her air before she looked at me straight in the eyes,

"happy?" was all she had to say, I wrapped my hand around her as we walked back to the house, everyone did look at us since 20 minutes ago I was chasing after her and now she is in my arms laughing playfully, I gave out a low growl when everyone turned away continuing on their daily work.

_Selena's POV_

He did ask me a question which left me on edge as I lied to his face saying I hated him, I haven't excepted the fact that I was falling for him after the dream scene it made me want more of him but I just couldn't stand not to see him, the longer I stay on this island the harder it going to be able to keep my wolf in, she pleads for him every single night wanting nothing but her mate to mark her,

Back to reality that's when the entire expression on his face dropped, the fact that he still could read my thoughts was annoying, my head is my private place where I can be myself but it turns out my suppose-mate had invaded it, long ago

I simply left him a hint after knowing I went a bit far before, but what I didn't expect was for him to kiss me, I will admit I liked the mysterious surprise kisses he gave but I just wished I had a warning before he did,

"Happy" was all I could tell him, I felt a bit embarrassed that I said I hated him and still let him kiss me, but he enjoyed it more than me without a question I knew that for sure.

After we headed back Sam stood there with the most worried look on his face, I had never seen him this way, it was like as if he had killed someone and had come to confess about it,

how I know this is because when my sister killed the innocent deer cause she wolfed out she came to me with the same face that Sam had on him right now, I held onto Jacobs hand tight something I don't do a lot sorry I don't do at all

"Alpha!" he said coming at us with a piece of paper in his hand, he stop the second he saw me with Jacob and looked at me and back at Jacob right before hiding the piece of paper behind his back, something was definitely off by his reaction,

"what is it?" Jacob spoke using his commanding voice which seemed to make me flinch a bit, Sam looked at me and back at Jacob like he was signaling something,

"it's fine, speak" he said commanding this time,

"but Alpha the news isn't good, I don't think it's safe for Selena to hear it" he replied

"well I am not going anywhere now that you mentioned it" I replied loosing from Jacobs grip, he just growled at Sam for saying it,

"now that you said aloud I suggest you speak up" Jacob said giving me a side glare as all I did was smile, he took the hand that held the piece of paper and gave it to Jacob,

Jacob read it and froze on the spot, it was like he was having a heart attack which scared me too, he immediately hid the piece of paper behind him and tried to walk away like it was nothing,

"what is it Jacob?" I said using my annoying voice I knew it was serious and had something to do with me,

"just something the pack needs my help with something" he said, I could tell he was trying to leave but I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me so I would see eye to eye, I frowned at him until Sam finally spoke up,

"there had been a rogue attack"
