Misty's pov

After putting on a grey gown which was too baggy and too plain equally compared to a lowly maid's outfit, I walked out of the room knowing fully well that I had no other choice.

I was stucked in this overly huge and boring party till it's dismissal period which I knew would end probably at midnight or later than that.

I wish I had my own choice so that I wouldn't be tied to this insane rules anymore and I could live my life the way I wanted, without any care in the world.

Suddenly a light material was tossed straight at my face, falling towards the floor.

I looked up only to see the rude maid who  defended and insulted me a few days back, she had an annoyed expression on her face as she pointed at the tiny material laying across the floor.

"The alpha and Luna had ordered me to make sure you put this veil on before walking into the hall, I'm sure you don't want to cause an uproar with that disgusting face of yours!"

I wanted to yell at her, telling her to stop calling me ugly. I wanted to refute her even if it was just once.... But my mouth felt too heavy to say a word and all I could do was to pick it up silently.

After the veil was kept in place, I took a deep breathe in before walking into the grand hall.

Even with the veil on, I couldn't get rid of the disgusted stares thrown at me by people and as usual, there was comments laced with Hatred.

"Never knew she was so ugly until now, geez, if I was the Alpha, I wouldn't bother taking care of this witch or letting her stay under my roof, I'd throw her out for good"

I felt a knife being buried deep inside my chest, tugging at my heart.

"I can't disagree with what you just said Rhianna, Only the moon goddess knows what the h3ll the alpha and Luna was thinking by keeping this useless girl at the pack"

"Her existence is a waste of Fresh air!"

Before I knew it, my fingers which were tightened into fists trembled beside me and I couldn't stop the tears from gushing out.

"Oh my, she's crying, urgghh, she just made her face look more ugly and thick than it was before"

People laughed, they made jest of me and then when I was about to stand up and walk away, the huge door opened and my sister Mia walked in causing a huge uproar.

She had worn a navy blue evening gown that had had sequin embroidery was woven of lace. It had an off shoulder neck pattern with sleeves that ended a little ahead of her elbow and were made of the soft lace. People were in love with that dress. Her hair had been done up in an artistic bun with curls. Long sparkling earrings adorned her ears.

And as she walked in, she was the definition of grace and beauty. It was like the whole words revolved around her and as she walked around, greeting a few people, people were marveled at her intelligence and politeness.

And she had the attention of everyone so.... That was good news for me because they finally stopped showering me with harsh words.

Pheewww...

I spun to my heels with my eyes closed and my ears shut, I didn't even look at where I was heading to, all that mattered was that I wanted to get away from these horrible people 'but' the closing eyes part was a bad idea because Immediately I opened the door to run down the hallway and towards my room, I ended up bumping into A man.

I stared in bemusement at the big, wrathful Man. He was an extraordinary sight, more than six feet of muscle and brawn dressed in a thin shirt and trousers that clung as if they'd been glued to his skin. An irritable shiver, almost certainly from the chill of evaporating alcohol, ran over him. Scowling, he reached up to remove his flat cap, revealing a shaggy mop of hair, several months past a good cut. The thick locks were a beautiful cool shade of amber shot with streaks of light gold.

He was handsome despite his unkept state. Very handsome. His blue eyes were alert with the devil's own intelligence, the cheekbones high, the nose straight and strong. A tawny beard obscured the line of his jaw- perhaps concealing a weak chin?- I couldn't tell. Regardless, he was a stunner.

He's quite tall with broad shoulders and an athletic physique that even his suit and tie cannot hide. My eyes continue their upward travel to his strong square-shaped face framed with dark long hair that falls to his shoulders and deep, piercing blue eyes. The corners of his mouth curve upward when he notices me staring a moment too long.

My heart thumped loudly and i felt fresh blood rushing towards my cheeks as I stared at the intimidating man in front of me.

I couldn't figure out the reason why I felt this strong pull towards alpha terror but it filled me with this beautiful feeling that had my heart racing like a car.

Suddenly, a threatening aura enveloped alpha terror as he glared angrily at me.

"Uhmmm... Greetings to Alpha Terror" I spoke with my head bowed.

There was silence for a brief moment, a silence that was very much uncomfortable as sweat broke out of my forehead.

Tension filled the air as he stared at me with utmost disgust.

My heart broke into a million pieces after staring into his cold eyeballs, he hated me just like everyone else.

I didn't need anyone to tell me because it was written clearly inside his eyes.

Finally he spoke, "Save the greetings and come with me"
