chapter 3:The talk

 Third pov

 Ruby was glad she still kept her scent hidden and after Nicholas and Ana found out they were mates the two had been inseperable being all lovey dovey before them which irked and annoyed Ruby.

 They were dring in the same car with Ruby and Mira at the back while Nicholas decided to drive and Ana sat in the passenger seat. They stared at each other like two starved goats which annoyed Ruby.

 "Will you two stop it already"she finally yells unable to keep it in any longer.

"huh"they both mutter clueless to what is happening before she could say anything the car is suddenly hit and it almost swerves out of control.

 "Shit what was that"Nicholas mutters his green eyes darkening and his hands tightening around hers.

 Sniffing the air Ruby's eyes suddenly shifts to a darker gaze.

 'Hunters'Alarica sneers

 'hmm this would be interesting' Angel grins.

"I will go check it you guys wait"she says steppingvout of the car. A hand suddenly tugs at her dress.

 ''Be careful Ruby''Mira says with a frightened expression.

 "Don't worry I will"she nods at Nicholas and Ana who also warn her to becareful.

their car is the last car and they were behing the other cars heading to the castle simply because Nicholas decided to drive slow.

 Nicholas was driving slow because he believed no one would have the mind or guts to attack the royal family.

 But he was clearly young.

Hunters were the human race who despised super natural beings and simply wanted to bring an end to them.

 They were the rogue part of humans as some humans had already accepted their fate to be ruled.

 The whole system was kept in balance where every natural and super natural being were to follow except rogues who do things their way.

 stepping out Ruby coldly scans the place and with her vampire vision she ditected the scent of five hunters present and she licks her lips delighted.

 her eyes darkened and she could even hear the pulse of the stupid hunters,grinning wickedly she suddenly teleporths and appears at the back of two hunters sticking her hands into their chest she digs out their hearts and smiles when they fall dead.

 She walks towards the third hunter taps him on his shoulder and the moment he turns around she snaps his head.

 muttering a small spell the other two start burning alive and they all turn to dust.

 she mutters another spell and all traces of blood are gone teleporthing back to the car she hears mira's worried voice.

"Let's go and check her Ana"she says worriedly and Ruby's heart warms a little opening the door she enters and says.

"I am back,it was just a fox"she smiles and althought it did not seem believable the others nodded and the drive to the palace went smoothly.
