Chapter 53

Alexander's Pov

The ray of sunshine seeping through the window curtain blinded me. I squinted open and shut my eyes for a moment then slowly open them to look at the view in front of me. Never I imagined these kinds of moments were amazing and you just want the time to stop, to be with the one you treasured the most.

She is definitely one of a hell treasure worth finding.

I had lost hope of finding my mate. But then when I almost let go of that little hope, that's where she reached out for me to find and save her. That night, I will never forget how she desperately called out to me out of nowhere, crying and calling out to someone that could save her. Until now, all that she had been through is unforgivable and unexplainable things why the hell it should happen to her? We don't know what destiny awaits us and what our fate would be but surely we make our own choices that lead us to what our tomorrow will be.

And that choice I am making now is to accept and love her for the rest of eternity. This is all I could do for her.

For my mate.

Out of all the werewolves, I should be the one who should understand her the most, especially accepting her. All of her. That's what mates do.

What true mates do.

I gently brush away the strands of hair on her face to see her more clearly. Her perfect eyes, that even in her sleep I can feel the power igniting from it. I move closer to give a feathery light kiss on her closed eyes. She moves a little and a moan of protest passes her lips.

I smiled to myself, knowing that I am disturbing her. It's been extremely exciting the past few weeks. Every day that passes by I find her more amusing and there's always something new about her that no one else can see but only me.

Sometimes she's silent, sometimes can be annoying other times she will just easily get mad.

But I love it the most when she's being naughty.

A wicked smile spread to my wolf's face.

Remembering the day that I get to give her my very first punishment.

It was an intoxicatingly thrilling moment. That every command I told her, she eagerly obliged.

It was a very magical and adventurous day. We had made love all through the night. And she was ready for every move I had made with her.

That was the first time she said my name. Loud and clear!

And I had made her do it!

She screamed my name at the top of her lungs in the most desirable heavenly feeling that she could ever feel.

I, on the other hand, do the same.

We both welcome each other's name that night. When she heard me saying her name, she made me say it a couple of times every time she was on the verge of her pleasure.

I like her dominant side but I love the way she submits herself fully to me.

Cupping her chin, I move down to her lips and laid a hot morning kiss. Instantly her eyes fluttered open and her irises diluted abruptly. Her wolf purred in response while my wolf gives a low rumbling growl. In a swift movement, instantly she was on top of me. With no clothes, bearing all her body at me. My hands went to her skin trailing her scars. I find it attractively beautiful and not in a way of disappointment or anything that she thought that it would be.

She is a masterpiece made just for me.

For me to embrace and treasure.

She bit her bottom lip upon caressing and trailing down her scars. She told me that she likes it every time I am doing it. It sends a jolt of small electricity that makes her thrilled.

"You woke up this little beast in me," she said then slowly began to grind herself on top of me.

I let out a low moan for she was hitting all the right places.

"My love, Camryn"

She laid her head back and gasped but then she stop her movement.

Abruptly her hands went to cover her mouth. Hurriedly she stands up and runs towards the bathroom. Furrowing my eyebrows, I was left hanging.

"What the heck did just happen love? Don't do this to me! Stop teasing me" I called out to her, pleading "Please come back here."

I waited for her to respond but a few minutes pass still haven't heard from her, I got up from the bed and followed her into the bathroom.

As I walk inside, a stench of smell hit me.

What is that smell? Stepping inside I wrinkled my nose. My eyes went wide when I saw her lying on the floor unconsciously near the toilet. Instantly I jolted to lift her and laid her back to bed.

Her face is paled.

I mind linking Paul right away telling him to bring the doctor to me. He ask why and growled at him instantly cutting him off.

Grabbing some tissue at the bedside table to wipe the side of her mouth while waking her. She lay unmoving. My wolf and I are worried about what could possibly happen to her. I was shocked to see my mate pass out not knowing what is the reason. She was fine all along then all of a sudden this happen. But then something in my gut tells me that everything is alright. That she is fine. I stood up and hurriedly went to grab a pair of bathrobes for her and for me to wear. Any minute now the doctor will be here. It's fine for me when others see me naked but I will not let them see hers. But for her sake, I also just wear the robe.

The knock on the door had me stood up beside the bed.

"Come in" I ordered.

Paul step inside first followed by the doctor and both bowed their heads.

"Alpha King," Paul said and urge the doctor to speak.

"Alpha King," said the doctor and once again bowed in respect "What can I do for you?"

I step aside for them to see Camryn lying in the bed.

"Come and check the condition of your Luna Queen. She suddenly passed out." I firmly said.

The doctor walk towards the bed and put down a bag he was holding then took out a stethoscope and lean down from the bed to examine Camryn.

I move from the foot of the bed and started pacing back and forth.

"Is our Luna Queen alright, doctor?" Paul asks worriedly. The doctor is still examining her and didn't answer him.

A few minutes passed I stop pacing. The room is so silent that neither Paul nor the doctor doesn't say a word.

I ask myself why am I calm in a situation like this? My guts tell me that everything is okay. Our mate bond isn't affected by what is happening to her and I didn't feel anything when she passed out.

But something is different from the mate bond when I woke up earlier. There's something in there that I can't tell what exactly it is. It feels very warm and calm. And that's why I am just puzzled why my mate passed out but in our bond, we both feel fine.

I close my eyes and heaved a deep sigh and listen to my surroundings. I can hear their heartbeats while I can sense the doctor checking Camryn's heartbeat.

And that's when I heard something that I didn't hear earlier. I listen intently to the sound of it. They are only four of us here in the room but why am I hearing another heartbeat?

I didn't notice it at first and barely wasn't here before but now that I had focused my attention on it, I now know that it's there.

It's here.

I open my eyes and release a breath I didn't know I was holding. I look at Camryn and suddenly a tear rolled down my cheek.

My wolf howled inside me.

This is amazing! My wolf said.

I also can't believe this! It's too soon! But still, I don't care!

The doctor stood and straighten up. He walk towards me and knelt.

"Congratulations! My Alpha King! Our Luna Que--"

"You may now all take your leave" I cut him off midsentence "And thank you."

The doctor once again bow down before leaving while Paul was left frozen. Shock is written on his face but then abruptly came to his senses. He came to me and lay a gentle pat on my shoulder.

"Truly this is something but definitely it's a blessing."

I just nod my head at what he said. He bows down and leaves.

I slowly walk to my mate and gently sat beside her. Taking her hand and laying a kiss on it then intertwining our hands together. But I can't get enough so I lay down and wrap my arms around her. I can't contain my indescribable feelings right now so I pulled her closer to me.

And silently waiting for her to wake up.
