[Gareth's POV]

Part of me couldn't resist. Curiously, I examined his built out of the corner of my eyes. He was as tall as I was, and may appear quite handsome to any human who happen to look at his face. Despite his gruff mood, his eyes seemed kind and deep thinking. Nevertheless he has a beta's body build -- nowhere near as strong of perfectly symmetrical as that of Alpha's, and nowhere near as good looking, although he did appear smart. His jaw clenched. He probably felt what I was doing. I cussed in my head. How stupid of me. But whatever; he's probably doing the same thing, measuring me the same moment, otherwise he wouldn't notice. He seem to ignore it eventually and proceeded to introduce us to the other pack members.
