I sat on the mini throne attending to paper works and tasks running my kingdom requires. And all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my heart as if I have just been stabbed but by an unknown force. It was horrid and sharp and it quickly awakened my grumpy wolf. Memories of the night with Mia flashed through my mind's eye and recalled every words she had said to me. Pictures of my mate flooded my mind as I grabbed my chest and yelled out in pains. What’s wrong with my mate?
"My alpha king!” Eunuch Cole rushed to me.
I groaned in pains as I fell down on my kneels. “Guards!” Eunuch Cole screamed out.
Two warriors rushed into the throne hall. “Alpha king!” They both gasped out in shock.
“Please help him up.” Eunuch Cole instructed them.
The guards came to the moon throne and set me back in it. “Let us take him to the infirmary!" Eunuch Cole said in a panicked tone.
