CHAPTER 30 Guess

　　Wren's POV

　　But in the next moment, he raised his hand to smooth my hair, and smiled. "Are you expecting me to do something?"

　　My face instantly turned red. "I'm not!"

　　He ignored me again, saying, "As your most thoughtful mate, I must do something to meet your expectations."

　　"I said I wasn't expecting anything!"

　　He raised his index finger in front of my lips, then leaned in and quickly kissed my cheek before getting up and leaving without giving me any time to react.

　　When I finally realized what had happened, he had already closed the door and left!

　　My cheeks felt hot, and I sat with my face covered for a while.

　　Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, followed by Hayden's voice: "I'm still waiting for you outside. Are you still lying in bed?"

　　"I'm not!"

　　He drawled, "Hmm," then added, "Although I didn't hear any movement of you packing up, I can still reluctantly believe what you said because of love."
