Thinking that her son had seen schoolmates, Archer's mother urged the boy to say 'hi' to his friends. She could just roam around the bakeshops for a moment. The sorry look in her eyes made Adrian tighten his fist a little. He could feel how much the mother's mood plummeted upon seeing them.
"Is she your girlfriend, Adrian?" Archer took the mother's offer and went to speak to them. "Uhm, I decided to skip school today because I was feeling unwell. Hey, I'm Archer. How should I call you?"
"…Vivienne." The girl didn't act cozy toward the other man. She could feel something from him… and a sense of warning radiating from Adrian's tightening hold on her hand.
