Miss the World for This
The gloom in the pups' eyes vanished as Ansel walked with a pair of ostriches. They had gone to the farm, uncaring if Enzo or Aldous came to look for them. Megan was the first to cheer, but Ansel gestured for her not to make too much noise.
"Megan, this is Mister Ostrich. He doesn't like super giddy children, but he will let you on his back. Dylan, you can try, too. I'll help you guys up."
"…Daddy…" Dylan looked up at the ostrich that was even taller than their already very tall Uncle. Also, the bird looked scary with those huge eyes and that big beak. The legs were long and scaly, while the body was only like a ball of thunderclouds. He ended up running to Darius and crying on his neck. No, he didn't want to ride the thing. He'd rather be on Darius's shoulders.
Nicholai and Darius only chuckled at the poor boy, Darius just carrying him, so he wouldn't grow envious of his siblings. Adrian and Vivienne rode the other ostrich, while Megan was on her own.
