Zuri Ulrica has always been a beauty as well as a mystery.
She is a beautiful young girl who has so much at her beck and call. At 18, suitors flocked in and out to seek her hand in marriage, but she politely turned them down with the only excuse of wanting to dedicate her life to God.
People saw her as pathetic or naive, and definitely, a beauty like hers shouldn't be ignored and left to waste, as her parents tried to marry her off.
Aware of their plans, she takes the next flight to Rome and joins a convent to start her training to become a nun.
To her, nothing will come between her and dedicating her life to God. She wouldn't let anything get to her, or so she thought...

Werewolves...
Creatures with the ability to turn into man as well as a beast.
Creatures have become a scary story that shakes children, even adults, to their knees at the mere mention.
An encounter with one means death, and an escape from one means pure luck.
The mystical creatures are linked to the moon. They sing their harmonizing song of sorrow every full moon.
They have existed since the time of creation.
It is said that when God was angry with the devil, and Michael the archangel fought with the devil, the devil was thrown down to earth from heaven and his angels.
A particular angel was also cast down for the sin he committed.
His name was Lycaon.
He had the strength and beauty of a wolf.
He looked down upon the earth and saw the most beautiful creature he had ever seen—a young woman.
She was beautiful, her face radiant and skin pale as the moon: his beautiful beloved, his Luna.
Lycaon fell in love with her instantly. He wished to cradle her in his arms, love her and cherish her forever, but he couldn't because he was above in the sky, and she was below on earth.
A massive gap between them. He would stare at her every day, especially at night, whenever she stepped out to stare at the night sky.
He would tell his fellow angels to gather at night, shine bright, and dance along the starry night.
So intrigued by this, she would watch every night. Sighing and singing to the night sky.
Eventually, Lycaon came down from heaven to earth to be with his beloved, but every full moon was when God rested, admired his work, and bathed in the cool evening breeze.
He cherished her, and she loved him in return. He was more than happy to be with her, and eventually, she had a child.
God was aware of what was happening but became angry when he discovered that Lycaon had defiled a lady.
He punished him by sending him to the darkest part of hell for a while, then sending him to earth.
After the punishment, Lycaon felt sorry, but nothing could be done.
He reluctantly went to earth, sad about leaving his beautiful and heavenly home behind but also happy he was going to see his beloved again.
He was devastated when he heard that his beloved had died while giving birth. She delivered a son, but her soul ascended to heaven.
He was furious and felt unfortunate. He felt sorry for what he did. She couldn't handle the stress of giving birth to another creature like him.
In agony, he shifted into his form- a half-wolf and half-human- and cried out to God and his beloved, holding the child in his arms.
His cry of agony reached God, and a promise was made.
He would be stripped of his sins and brought up to heaven. He will only be with his beloved if a pure soul, a human, willingly agrees to be with his seed.
For a new generation had risen.
A werewolf...
With a mate to be by their side.
Every full moon, they howl to God in the appearance of a moon that watches over his creation. Not to forget his promise and redemption for werewolves and give them their companions, their mates.
Only mates can rid werewolves of their raw, animalistic side. They would cherish, love, and adore their mates. They would be complete and cry to God to allow their father Lycaon to be with their mother, Luna.
Now mates can be identified by...
Three subsequent knocks startled her from completing the passage she was reading in the book.
"Yes, who is there" Zuri called out as she closed her book. She sighed as she hates being disturbed whenever she's reading.
The book is absolutely fictional anyway; it's not like werewolves exist. She thought.
A figure entered the library, and judging by the long dark gown and white veil, she stood up immediately.
"Mother Superior, good morning. How was your night? You shouldn't have bothered coming here." Zuri said.
Mother Superior smiled. "It is okay, and my night was good. We have important matters to discuss. Hence, I had to come and see you privately".
Zuri felt scared. If Mother Superior had something to tell her that she came herself, it must be severe.
She put the book she had been holding down on her bedside table and faced her.
Mother Superior's eyes moved to the book cover, and she a wisp of a smile appeared on her face.
"History of werewolves. You seem interested in this," she asked curiously.
Zuri chuckled nervously as her eyes fleeted over the book cover. " Not really Mother, I just started reading it, and it doesn't seem intriguing."
She moved to look at mother superior's face before talking."So, mother, what is it that you have to discuss with me."
Mother Superior looked at her directly in the eyes taking in a loud breath and then heaved before talking.
"It's about your parents!"
One statement and Zuri knew there was trouble.
