You Have To Reject Her

Jasper's POV

When she stormed into my room yesterday like an Alpha female to ask me what the real deal was, I felt irritated by her constant nagging, but then I had to answer her question, so she would know where she belongs.

I didn't expect Anna to barge into the room all of a sudden. She has been my childhood love and still is the only one who can make my heart flutter in a way that makes me wonder why?

Sincerely, I love Anna so much, and I'm ready to take the risk with her. Even though she isn't my mate, I don't give two fucks about that because I'm so freaking gonna make her my Luna.

When Charlotte dismissed herself, I had to find a way to calm Anna's raging anger and I couldn't think of a better way than to seal her lips with mine. We were so engrossed in our actions that in the matter of a few minutes it led to something more than a kiss.

After an hour or so of intense love making, she slept off, only then did I realize what my actions would be doing to my fated mate. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have marked her in the first place. This is so messed up!

This morning, as we were having our meal together I was so uneasy and my eyes fell on Charlotte. The way she chewed down her food, the movement of her lips. I swallowed hard as my thoughts were filled with having a taste of those gorgeous lips again.

I forced myself to face my food, but my mind and everything wasn't in the food any longer. Before I knew it, I was staring at her face and then my eyes wandered down to her neck. Jasper, what the hell is happening to you?

This is going out of hand, I can't think straight any longer. Why is Charlotte the only thing I can think of? My wolf isn't helping matters at all. He's so excited staring at her that I can fill my eye color switching to blue, my wolf's eye color.

After calling her into my office and informing her that she will be joining the army. I called her back to say a few more words to her, but then my thoughts were once again clouded with lustful thoughts of my mate.

Then I began to hear her thoughts of wanting to kiss the hell out of me, and I stood up immediately and walked to her.

"Even I want to do the same." She widened her eyes in shock, but I didn't let her say a word before slamming my lips on hers, but just then the door opened.

"Jasper! What the hell is this?" My mom said as she walked into my study with fury.

"Good morning ma." Charlotte greeted her.

"Mom, you just came here, have a little rest at least."I said with anger.

"You're Charlotte, right?" She turned towards Charlotte, who didn't even retreat backwards nor quiver.

"Yes I am." She responded.

"Jasper, information is just reaching me from Anna that you found your true mate, and I confirmed further that you conducted your mating ceremony with her!" She inquired with anger lacing in her tone.

"Yes, I did. Charlotte, please leave us.' I said while ruffling my hair.

"No, she's not going anywhere. Look at me Charlotte, don't deceive yourself with the fact that he performed the mating ceremony with you because it's nothing to him nor to us! "She exclaimed.

The annoying part of it is how Charlotte stared at her as though she's a mental asylum patient. 

"You're nothing but a bait to us. Trust me, when you know his real reason for bringing you in here, you won't find it funny." She uttered while glancing at her with disgust obvious in her eyes.

"Can I leave now?" It was all Charlotte said, and I nodded at her, and she pushed the door open and walked out.

"Jasper I expected more from you, how could you do something like this to Anna? Why on earth did you conduct a mating ceremony with her? You are supposed to be sensible. Your dad will definitely be so mad at you if he finds out that you went ahead and made this big decision without informing us.

"Mom that's enough!"I said in a low tone, careful not to raise my voice at her.

"Yes, I had my mating ceremony with her for a purpose. I don't want a situation where there will be a reason for her to back out of the plan. I want to have total control over her." I said in a low tone to my mom.

"Do you get it now?"I inquired as I took her hands with mine.

"Yes, but what of Anna? She's broken by this, and she has this feeling that you will abandon her for your true mate. You have to do everything within your will to make sure she doesn't feel that way." My mom said to me while squeezing my hand gently.

"After the war, you have to reject her." She uttered while staring into my eyes.

"Yes, I will." As I said, that, I can feel my wolf groan in annoyance.

"That's my son." She smiled broadly, then gave me a heartwarming hug.

"Don't ever let your emotions affect your decision." She whispered before detaching herself from the hug.

"I will be in the garden with our future, Luna." She said before walking out of my study.

I let out a heavy breath when she left. That was really close to a heartache. Sporadically, I walked out of my study, climbed down the stairs and made my way towards the exit of my house as my driver was already waiting for me.

"Good morning, Alpha Jasper."he greeted with a slight bow.

I nodded in acknowledgement and walked into my car. My driver is a middle-aged wolf who was my father's driver during his regime and continued being mine even when my father handed the leadership of the pack to me.

He's a very humble wolf, but then most times I can't help but pity his lonely life. His mate died during childbirth, which is rather a rare case for werewolves, though not impossible. 

After two months, his pup died out of illness, and he refused to have another mate, his life just revolves around driving me to wherever I wanted.

"Where's Grey?" I inquired from him about my beta.

"He went with Charlotte to the training ground." He replied.

He started the car then drove off my compound. I rested my head on the headrest of the car. Deep down, I have this feeling that things are about to take a turn, but I'm uncertain if it's for the worst.
