'Grin! Griin!! Griiiin!!!'

Adrian was on a Grey v-neck t-shirt and brown khaki chino trousers with unlaced athletic shoes. With a different type of swag, he stepped into the cafeteria, gazing at the crowd of students for John.

Stormie just gave Stella and Helen the piece of jewelry she bought for them from Wolfsberg. A silver necklace and bangle.

"Geez! Is that your brother, Stormie?" Helen asked, dumbfounded.

Stormie turned back, and a small grin brightened her face.

As Adrian approached, other girls turned their heads, even the boys.

"Is he a new student?" a guy seated close to Jason asked his partner in admiration.

Jason and charms as they gave him a devil look as he took his order.

"Oh, so you're back? Let me pay for that." A girl muttered from behind. Adrian turned and realized that it was Ashley.

"Yeah... Last night. And don't worry, I'm fine. Thanks anyway." He took out some cash out of his wallet and paid.

Ashley chuckled softly as her eyes rolled from his head to toe. "You look different, I must say." She leaned to him, her hand adjusting his jet black hair. "About our last discussion?"

"I have no idea..." Adrian held her hand and pulled back. "And about prom, you can go with Jason."

"What... You don't want to go to prom with me?" her voice dropped in disappointment.

"Far from that. Thing is, I already have a date. But... Thanks anyway." He took his food tray and went to seat with John.

Ashley watched him, dumbfounded. "What just happened?"

While going to his seat, Jason and Fabian gave him an incredulous glare but Adrian paid no attention.

"Well, I saw you two chatting. What did you talk about?" John asked excitedly.

"She asked me to prom."

"Shut up! Ashley did that?"

"I said no." Adrian admitted.

"Okay, are you suffering from some kind of pro-stromatic Austria stress?"

"Not at all. It's just that I already have a date." He glanced at Maria, who was watching him from behind.

"No way! You know the new hot student?"

"Let's say she's my girlfriend." He busted to John, and they chuckled softly.

Pissed at what was funny, Jason threw his football at them. Adrian grabbed it in a clench and John's eyes widened to how he was so fast.

"Excuse me." He walked directly to Jason, placing the ball between them. "See you at trials, boys." Maria wrapped her arm around him as they walked away.

"What audacity?" Fabian's eyes were literally boiling from so much anger.

At Training, Adrian played well that Mr. Clayton made him the team captain. Pestered, Jason and Fabian planned to teach him a lesson after school hours.

Adrian was in the toilet when someone suddenly busted in. He jerked fast enough to miss the blow. Adrian pulled him in, hitting his face hard against the wall before he realized it was Jason.

"What are you doing here?" Adrian raised an eyebrow, not wanting to cause any trouble.

"You know what you did, motherfucker!" Jason pulled out of his grip with a sharp knife at hand. Enraged, he tried to stab Adrian, but he flinched, feathered like an arrow.

Adrian squeezed his hand, and it creaked.

"Auch!" Jason cried in pain. The knife dropped off his hand, rolling in Adrian's direction.

"Look, Jason. I don't want to fight with you but if you let me, trust me you'll never get out if it!" Adrian warned, his breath thickened as he tried hard to calm his wolf.

"I hate you!" Jason hissed, rushing out of the toilet. He angrily kicked a bucket of water and slipped.

"Awww!"

Adrian rushed to him at once, offering a hand. Jason slapped his hand away, irritated.

"We don't have to be enemies, Jay-Jay. You're a skilful player and a better boyfriend. We could be pals if you want to. And if you don't?" Adrian walked to his bag-pack and placed it on his back. "Goodbye."

He walked off the restroom, pestered. Leaving Jason there in the pool of water.

An exasperated breath escaped him with vengeance in his eyes.

As Adrian walked out, Fabian, who was waiting for Jason, looked at him from head to toe. He wasn't bleeding.

'What about Jason?' He thought and rushed into the restroom.

"What's up, dude? What happened?" Fabian asked, puzzled.

"Adrian Knight would definitely pay for this." His hoarse breath promised.

"Don't miss those tickets, Stormie! We got to watch Ginger Snaps 2!" Jessica snapped, taking her handbag.

Adrian and Stormie were awaiting her in the living room. Stormie had dragon at hand. It was now changing colours, so she carried it everywhere. Except to school, of course.

"How come do we have 4 tickets?"

"Well, I umm... Asked Harry to come over so we could go to the cinema together." She confessed, rolling her eyes at Stormie and Adrian with a tight lip. As if asking if they were okay with it. Maria stared at them blankly. Lost in thought of the sudden silence.

"Yes, mum. I'm cool with it." Adrian smiled, and they both stared at Stormie, who was suddenly quiet.

She busted out in a choking laugh. "Come on, mum. You don't need my permission to date anyone."

"But you're the Alpha of Wolfsberg."

"Yeah, I'm still your daughter. Anyway, have you seen him in board daylight? He's not a vampire, right?"

"Of course, not. He's human." Jessica whispered, and they chuckled in unison.

Adrian held Maria's hands closer as the doorbell rang.

'Ding-Dong! Ding-Dong!!'

"That must be for me." Jessica rushed to open the door.

"Welcome Harry!" She greeted him, and he quickly gave her a welcome kiss but Jessica pulled back timidly.

"Not now, my kids are here."

Then he took a step in, seeing the whole family. His cheek flushed, and the kids laughed at both of them.

"Enough laughter, it's movie time!" Jessica reminded them as the five of them got into Jessica's new BMW jeep. Adrian sat in the driver's seat as he drove them across the street.

Meanwhile, another vehicle came to pack in front of their house. It was a black Honda Civic with tinted glasses.

The passenger door slide and the front mirror wind down. It was the driver from before.

"Be fast about it, looser! I need to get out of this before the sun goes up!" Jerry hissed, sitting in a wheelchair with his body bandaged from head to toe.

The driver came down and a mysterious smirk firmed on his lips. "Too bad. Everyone thinks I'm dead? This is just the beginning, because Jerry's moving in."

He told himself. His personal driver, Conan, pulled him out of the car with his wheelchair. Taking him to Knight's house, he knocked on the door. The lights were still on, so Jerry wondered if anyone was inside at all. With his hearings, Jerry felt the sound of silence and looked around. The night was bright with streetlights, unlike how it was in Wolfsberg. But it was a little warmer. Jerry hissed as he looked around, he loved it cold.

Just then, a white Toyota Camry parked at the other side if the road. Give me a kiss. A boy with dark blonde hair asked Ashley, but she hissed and climbed out of his car.

"There's no goodbye kiss?" he frowned. What about goodbye hug?

Ashley showed her middle finger at him before crossing to the other part of the road. Disappointment plastered the guy's face, but he drove off without hesitation.

Cat-walking back home, Ashley caught Jerry and his driver in front of Knight's apartment. Her eyes furrowed as she watched them from her side.

"They're not around!" Ashley informed them. "They must have gone to the movies or something."

"Who are you?" Jerry turned to her, still in pain.

"I'm just a neighbor. I live alone anyway. Would you like to come in to wait for them a bit?" She kindly offered.

"Yes, sure." Jerry pointed in her direction and Canon, Jerry's driver, took him to her apartment. She opened the door while they entered.

Jerry looked around and realized how much she must have spent in getting an apartment for herself. Although her apartment was filled with creepy paintings and statues all around.

"You stay here alone?"

"Yes." She replied to him. "Why?"

"It's so beautiful. How old are you?.."

"Ashley." She introduced.

"Ashley?"

"I'm 16."

"And you rent this place alone? Do you work?"

"No, not at all. I hang out with guys that settle my bills."

"All of it?"

"Yeah, all of it." She replied him and got them chilled fruit juice from the fridge.

"What about your parents?"

"As for my parents... I burned them when I was only three." she admitted, but covered up with fake smile. "It's a long, boring story, anyway."

As Ashley served, her eyes furrowed but she wire a plastered smile.

"Um, I'll have to change my outfit. I'd be right back." She told them before marching into her bedroom with a strange feeling. Having these guests in gave her chills.

As Jerry looked around, one painting caught his eyes. He narrowed his gaze at the framed photo. It was a man in a wheelchair looking at the exact painting.

Closing the door, Ashley placed her hand on her chest. She could feel her heart racing, as if something was off.

On her was a necklace. Ashley brought out a sterling silver necklace with a crystal pendant. Walked to her wall mirror, looking at her reflection and the necklace. Under it was a chest of drawers.

As if something popped up in her mind, Ashley opened the one of the drawers and brought out a flat, stainless tray. In it was white, clayey sand. She placed it in front of her mirror, using the middle finger of her left hand to draw a pentagram, which represents earth, air, fire, spirit, and water in a magic circle.

'Who are they?' Curiosity laced her eyes.

Ashley lit up a red candle, placing it in the middle of the pentagram and quietly recited an incantation. With her eyes closed, she gasped for air at once and her breath fastened.

"What? They're vampires?" She muttered in fear and all the light went off at once.

Everywhere was pitch black. Only in her apartment. Her entire room was dark as shame, only the candle standing in the white-clay sand stood still.

"What's happening?" Ashley was frightened. The door she closed a while ago slowly creaked open.

"Whoop! Whoop!! Whoop!!!"

Something distracted her vision, like a ghost. The door creaked close and then opened again.

'Whoop! Whoop!! Whoop!!!'

'Crrkkkkk!' her windows creaked open. A strange breeze blew in.

Ashley looked up, and Jerry just sat there. Watching her with a devil stare and Conan, standing right next to him.

'How did they get in?' She swallowed hard at the thought.

Scared, she struggled to pull up herself from the ground with no luck. Her hands were sweaty and her wobbly legs trembled.

Jerry them pulled closer. He snapped forward to her position, and Conan grabbed her wholly, holding her neck with force. As if strangling her. Ashley pulled back, to no avail. Conan's stiff hands grabbed her, hammering her tight and her body to the ground.

"I see you, Ashley. You're a witch." Jerry pointed out.

"And you are a vampire." Ashley clenched her lips shut, lost for words.
