Ezekiel's heart churned when he heard his father's words. In his mind, Harriet's image kept playing. She looked so vulnerable and broken. He had never seen her looking like that in his entire life.

“She's pregnant… what are we going to do if she…" He muttered to himself.

Axias actually thought the same thing but he didn't want to say it.

"You are right. But don't worry. Harri will be fine, the physician says she will be fine. You know that kid is tough. But it looks like this incident really broke her," explained the Emperor calmly.

Slowly, Ezekiel sat back in his chair and allowed the physician who had stitched his wound to continue his work. He looked down, rubbing his face with his hand.

"What really happened, father?" he asked quietly. "I came as soon as I heard the commotion but I didn't see what started it. Why did he go on a rampage?"
