Abby took a deep breath.
She wanted to go home because she didn't want to live on the streets, but now she ended up on the streets anyway. Everything was ironic.
Even though she had just earned so much money, why did she have to wander aimlessly like this in the middle of the night?
Hotel. She had to find a hotel.
But it was a bit of a shame to use the money she just got as compensation from Laurel Obsidian for renting a hotel room. She wanted to save more money. No, she wanted more money!
She ended up choosing the cheapest and ugliest hotel she could find, and she stayed there for the night. However, Abby quickly realized that the lock on the hotel room door was very shabby, and so many strange noises could be heard from behind the thin walls.
