Chapter 11 Secret Meeting

Adams took a deep breath to calm himself down, but he failed to suppress his anger.

His granddaughter had been married to Joshua for a year. But it turned out that Joshua had been loving another woman!

"So, in Joshua's eyes, Lexie's needs take priority over his duty for his wife!"

Cecilia smiled apologetically and said, "Lexie must have been in danger. I beg you to forgive Joshua."

Adams laughed ironically. "In danger? Do you mean stomach ache? Wow, that was funny."

Cecilia couldn't maintain the smile on her face.

Joshua had been out for the phone call for five minutes. When he came back, Cecilia glared at him and asked, "Are you done? Apologize to Anaya and Adams and promise that you will never contact that woman!"

Joshua grabbed the car keys on the table and said, "I'm going to take Lexie to the hospital."

Anaya snorted with laughter, "What? Can't she go there by herself? Is she dying or something?"
