"AAAAAAH!!" I screamed and swung my arm, slamming my palm into Zed's face. Destabilized, he fell into the water, eyes wide with surprise. He emerged from the water a few seconds after and I quickly covered my breast with my arms while my cheeks burnt red.

A smile lifted Zed's lips and he chuckled. "Easy love! I just wanted to check on you."

I screamed at the top of my lungs. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOU FREAKING PERVERT!!!

- Ava! Are you alright!?" Alerted by the commotion, Cade came running to my rescue, confused when he spotted Zed standing in the water.

A scowl knitted Cade's brows. "ZED!?"

Rubbing the back of his head, Zed gave a mischievous smile as he stepped out of the lake. "Cade! I'm so glad your here; can you keep watch? I'd like to have a little talk with Ava-

- Zed, GET OUT!!" Cade's voice rang with authority and Zed smiled while he nodded his shoulders.
