"She attacked me without my knowledge" Kimberly lied.
" I wanted to ask her a few questions, but she was too stubborn and when I wanted to reprimand her, she ended up beating me up because she knows that you will always protect her". She faked her tears and started crying.
" Aren't you afraid of what I will do to you " he thundered, making her shiver.
" Did you say afraid? She laughed.
" I don't know that this useless Luna of yours can lie, why didn't you give me a chance to talk? How come you changed so much?
" Shut your mouth before I help you close them" he barked.
" Next time you try to lay a finger on her, I will make sure I strangle you to death.
" Death? Then I urge you to do it.
" Kill me! She yelled.
" I should die for nothing. I don't have anything to regret if I die now".
" Do you think am happy after what you did to me?
" I could have supported the idea of killing all those damn fucking werewolves then"
" I said shut up!!
He held her further, tightening his grip around her neck, making her gasp for more breath, her eyes were already red, filled with anger, so many emotions and tears falling from her eyes.
I couldn't do anything, I just regretted everything. Since I decided to put aside my hatred for him and develop a likeness for him, this is what I get.
" Why did mother not teach me how to handle situations like this? She only gave me the rules but never told me how to face them".
" Mother why! Why!
I just closed my eyes engulfing all the outflow of emotions that was within me. I felt as if I was going to burst at that moment, those emotions were killing me, eating my heart and consuming my soul.
" What are you doing! Killian's voice roared in my head.
" Don't do this, don't! Don't! He pleaded.
At that moment it was as if I was on a battlefield, battling with this unknown force that was trying to break through my defence. I didn't want to hold her like that. But something in me made me do so. Something that got to do with jealousy and hate. I kept battling.
" Kill her Kale, that which is not supposed to be kept alive"
"This is your chance, don't waste it. If you kill her, you will have more reason to defend us if the chief warrior's wife asks you.
"Kale! Just rip off her neck". Kimberly urged him like a demon tempting its prey.
She now channelled all her anger, making kale feel very furious, tightening his grip as his claws grew out of his hands ready to tear her neck apart.
He brought up his claws making a few scratches on her face.
Just as he was about to take the final action, his wolf overpowered him, and he threw her away towards the statue, making her hit the image with so much force that the statue crashed, Inflicting a huge damage effect on her.
While on the other hand, Kimberly was very angry as she took a devilish glare at Vanessa.
" Am not yet done with you" she murmured.
I tried to regain my posture as I looked around, blood was all over me, I was already dying in pain.
"This is what I will do to anyone that tried to hurt her" he barked.
"Vanessa, this is just a warning note to you". Saying this, he walked to where Kimberly was and lifted her and placed her in his arms as they walked away.
Looking hopeless and dejected, I tried to stand up, but I was too weak to do that. So I pulled myself up with the help of the stair rails but ended up falling again and injuring myself.
Shouting here will be useless as none of the creatures will even come to my aid, considering the type of hatred they have for me.
"My dear Vanessa! Carina yelled as she run inside the room.
" What happened to you?
" Why are you bleeding? She asked feeling concerned.
" I hope is not that Kimberly that did this to you". She angrily asked.
. " No…it wasn't.her".
" Then who was it?
" It's Alpha Kale"
" Alpha Kale?
She held her mouth to prevent her from shouting.
" Why did he do this to you?
"I thought he said no one should touch or hurt you? Why is he like this?
" It's all Kimberly fault" I grinned.
" She was the cause of all this"
" I know she will probably be the cause. She never ceases to create troubles anywhere she goes" Carina said.
" She lied I attacked her meanwhile she was the one that pushed me down the stairs in the first place.
I started narrating all the incidents to Carina as she was listening to me with all her attention.
" Sorry Vanessa, I never knew she was this evil".
" You are already bleeding, let me take you to the pack doctor before you die.
Carina lifted me and placed me on her back as she stomped to where I was to be treated.
When we got inside there, they were a few wolves who was there to receive treatment for one or two sickness and injuries. They stared at me, but I wasn't afraid of those stairs Because it wasn't the first time.
"What happened to her? Giselle questioned as she saw us approaching the doctor's office.
" As usual" Carina answered.
" As usual? Tell me who is it again?
" Is it those bastards or Kimberly or one of those maids? Tell me!
" It's Kale Giselle, Carina cut in sharply.
"What!
She held the same surprise look Carina had when I told her it was kale.
"How could he….
"Of course, Kimberly won't stop scheming.
" She lied that Vanessa attacked her and this got the Alpha furious that he had to do this to her.
" I thought the Alpha had a sort of likeness for her that he killed his members to avenge for what they did to her?
" Pardon me, that was in the past not now. Things have changed" Carina reminded her.
They quickly took her to see the doctor.
" Again!! He yelled.
"Why must they keep hurting her like this, see she has broken her limbs and could barely walk".
" I can't continue to treat her if this thing persists.
" Please you know well it wasn't her fault, she was falsely accused and was beaten by...….
" And was beaten by Whom? He asked.
" Kale" she blurted.
