Felicia took out a little pink purse and throw it at her.
"Here, if you like spend it as you want, this cents are enough to buy the things we want, now out of my sight and get me recipes for chicken rice," She scolded before adding;
"Don't even think of stealing my money or running away with it, because I will track you down and kill you."
Elizabeth tried reply her mother but Ariel stopped her by giving her a sign.
"Yes ma'am," Ariel replied politely.
When ariel arrived at her uncle's house, she respected and loved his wife to the extent of calling her Mother, but the evil woman never wanted that.
After instructing Ariel on the things to do she went in and get the basket before dashing out of the house excitedly, knowing that her uncle will finally return home. Her mind will finally remain at peace once she receive the information about her mother's death.
'Maybe Knox wasn't sure of what he was saying' Ariel said to herself as she walk along the woods.
Elizabeth quickly turn to follow Ariel, but was stopped by her mother.
"And where do you think you are going, young lady?" questioned Felicia with an angry expression on her face.
"I'm going with Ariel," came the short response from her.
"Go back and read your book, you are not allowed to go anywhere with her," she finalized.
"You can't stop me from going where, I have the right to choose what I want," The she turn away from her facing the gate before adding,
"You are no longer the caring and loving woman I once knew, Mother."
There was a hit of anger in her voice, with that she stomped out of the house running after Ariel.
"Come back here, Elizabeth," Felicia yelled on seeing her daughter walk out of the house.
"Let her go mother, it seems she has chosen to be with that witch that killed her mother," Melanie yelled rudely from behind then she continued;
"Maybe she's now possessed by her, because sis now talks to you in a rude manner and even dad listens to that witch."
Felicia couldn't control the anger boiling within her.
"If this continues, do you know what the results would be?" asked Melanie causing her mother to give her a suspicious look then she continued;
"Dad will enroll her at big sis school or probably get a job for her."
Felicia startled by hearing this,
"That will never happen," She spat out angrily.
"It might, if she continue staying here, I know what I'm saying mom."
"So what do you suggest we do?" Felicia asked her.
"Well, mother I suggest we sell her off."
Felicia's smile on hearing this kind of suggestion
"You're indeed my daughter," she praised her little witch. But her smiles was quick to die down as something came up her mind,
"But your dad won't approve of it,"
"You don't have to bother Mom, just tell him something that will convince him to sell her out, simple."
"That's my smart baby," she praised her again.
Ariel turned surprised on seeing Beth running towards her, she then stopped and asked;
"why are you here, Beth?"
"Of course, why won't I come? don't think I will just let you go alone,"
Beth said while trying to catch her breath,
Then she added;
"I'm sorry for what my mother and sister said to you," she apologized as her breathing became stable.
"Come on Beth, is not your fault, I'm no one to question. I'm not complaining, It will be so bad if I say I do not appreciate all the things you all has done for me," Ariel said truthfully.
"Oh Ariel! You deserve more than all this,"
Said Beth causing ariel to Chuckle
"I can't be greedy," the both sighed before she added,
"Hope your Mom won't scold you for this?"
"Who cares, I go where ever I want, I'm not a kid anymore, I'm an adult, I just don't like someone controlling me."
"Yeah, but you are still under your parents care," Ariel said nicely
"I know, but there are things an adult should do too," Beth concluded,
And they both laughed before walking down the woods.
They arrived at the market, where multitude of people were present buying and selling different kinds of things, like
portions, food recipes, clothes, Pets, Magical pets like,
Yellow lizard, white fox, little blue jelly and alot of them. the also sell magical stones but is sold secretly in the town, some sells bracelets, jewelries, holloween custom, horses and alot of other things.
Ariel and beth admired the beautiful things in the market while also squeezing themselves within the crowd.
A fortune teller, who was busy mixing his portion quickly stopped on noticing how the girls were busy admiring the things in the market, then he walk towards them.
"Hello, mademoisells!" He greeted excitedly causing they girls to flinch on his action, then they turned and greeted him back.
After exchanging greetings with the fortune teller, he lead them to his store and they sat down.
"Please mademoisells, I won't take much of your time, I am wakanda the fortune teller and I will like to know you," He introduced nicely.
"Please sir, we actually don't have time for this, we are on an errand and our mom won't like us to be late," Ariel said politely
"No I won't waste your time at all, I just want to see how bright your futures are," said wakanda.
"But we don't have any money with us, kind sir." Ariel added;
"No need for that miss, I called you and I want to do it just for free for the both of you, so what is you name?" he turned to Beth.
"I'm Elizabeth thomas," she said while smiling.
"What a nice name for a nice and cute girl like you," he admired causing her cheek to blush.
Then he continued.
"Please, may i have your hand?" he proposed as he brought his hand forward, she then place her hand on his.
