Chapter 10

Fiona's POV

I woke up early, my mind still uneasy, feeling anxious about the full moon ceremony. Today was the day I had dreaded for weeks. At the very least the feeling of being watched has gone away. Sebastian's reassurances hadn't eased my worries any bit.

Tomorrow night I would come face to face with Ryan, my mind raced with worst-case scenarios. My stomach turned as I imagined every scenario, just then I gag as the food from yesterday came up my mouth. I ran to the bathroom, as I threw up in the sink.

I rinsed my mouth, pulled my clothes and proceeded to take a hot bath, which I think I needed.

I got out of the bath and walked to the closet, dried my body and wore a black Jean and a pink polo, pulled my hair into a ponytail and did minimal makeup and I was ready to depart.

Just then Sebastian knocked on the door and entered, looking stunning in his formal attire. "Ready?" he asked, offering his arm.

I nodded, taking a deep breath. We walked to the courtyard, where numerous cars awaited us. I saw Rachel standing in a corner as she smiled and waved at me.

She mouthed something "Tell him"

We got into the car and we left his house as we traveled to the ceremony site. We were heavily guarded and I thought nothing about it.

Sabrina's POV

I stood on the balcony of my chambers, overlooking the pack's preparations. My assistant approached me, bowing.

"My Queen, the spy, has confirmed Fiona's attendance."

I smiled, my eyes gleaming with malice. "Excellent. Tonight, we take back what's mine permanently. Get everything ready, leave no room for mistakes"

"Yes your highness" he replied and moved out as I kept overlooking the decorations. We have to be there to greet all guests as their troupe for tomorrow's event.

Fiona's pov

I played with my fingers nervously, every minute that passed I got closer to the past and Seb finding out the truth. I need to tell him as soon as I can.

Clearing my throat, "Seb?" I called out, he looked at me.

"I need to tell you something, something I should have told you a long time ago." I said nervously, he looked at me curiously as he tried to figure out what I wanted to tell him.

"I…." I said as the words choke in my throat

"I'm Listening Fiona" he said reassuring me.

"I…. knew" just then we were interrupted by the driver

"Sir we just entered the bluemoon pack" the driver related the information, my heart immediately skipped a beat.

"Drive straight to the Pack house, that's where I would be received" Sebastian informed him, he then looked back at me. "What were you say my love"

I shook my head, as fear cling onto me like a lost puppy asking for help, "Nothing"

He looked at me with stern eyes, trying to read me. I was still as any sudden movement could get me caught.

"If you say so!"

Sighing a breath of relief, just then the car drove into town, my former pack. The ones that treated me like trash, discriminated against me and pushed me out to die in the hands of rouges.

As the car goes by, memories of my life in the pack flooded back like a stream of memories. A tear dropped down my eyes but I quickly cleaned to avoid suspicions.

The car came to a stop at the Pack house, from the window I could see Ryan and Sabrina. They put on their best smile as they welcomed guests in.

The door of our car was opened, Sebastian took my hand as he brought me down from the car. I breathed out, raised my head in pride and tried to hide my nervousness.

I walked towards Ryan with Grace and Sebastian leading the way. When his eyes landed on me, his smile faded away.

Sebastian's aura was not also friendly, we stopped in front of Ryan and Sabrina, who was still wearing her fake smile but I could see through her.

"Alpha Ryan, Luna Sabrina Greetings" Sebastian said coldly.

"Alpha Sebastian greetings. I was not informed that you had a mate." Ryan says to Seb

"I do."

"Wow and of all people a killer." Ryan said softly as he brought my past. Sebastian paused, looking at him with a glare.

"Call her that again and watch me burn this pack to the ground" Sebastian warned, growling to assert dominance. Ryan, feeling threatened, growled back.

"Sorry for your highness for the intrusion." Sabrina spoke up, breaking up the fight before it would start.

"Alpha Sebastian, the maids would show you and your beautiful mate to your sleeping quarters"

"My personal assistant would look into your stay," snapping her fingers, a tall man walked up to her and my eyes widened as I had seen him during the murder that was pinned on me.

"Leo, please get them to their room" Sabrina says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, your highness. This way Please" he led the way.

As we passed my eyes connected with Ryan as he looked at me with pure hate in his eyes. Sabrina smirked and a cold chill ran down my spine.

I held on to Sebastian as I was feeling unsafe. He felt my nervousness and held my hands tightly, he looked at me with soft eyes.

"Is everything alright" he asked, I looked at him, I couldn't talk here, Sabrina's spy was leading the way to our quarters

"I'm fine" I faked a smile.

We walked for a while, the palace familiar to me as I worked here before. We finally got to a door, the assistant pushed it open and walked into the room while we followed behind.

"Your highness, this would be room for the course of this event. I hope you find everything to your liking" he said as politely as he can, "do you need anything else."

"No, you can go" he bowed and left. The maids dragged our bags into our room, greeted and left us.

I couldn't shake of the feeling of uneasiness and what happened downstairs definitely deserves an explanation

"Sebastian I need to tell you something and you have to listen" I said out of the blue, startling him.

He nodded in response
