Epilogue

Unknown's Point of View

I finally found Viktor holed up in a small cabin in the woods. It had obviously seen better days. Any paint had long since flaked away, and the gardens were overgrown. I walked up the path to knock on the equally run-down door.

"Ahhh, Viktor," I said, "The man I have been looking for."

"And what do I owe the pleasure, Mr...?" Viktor replied.

"Who I am is of no matter at this moment," I stated. "I want to know what you intend to do with the woman, Aláine?"

I watched that pathetic, snivelling werewolf, Viktor. He was cowering before me, although he neither knew who nor what I was.

When I mentioned the Aláine woman, I could see the indecision on Viktor's face.

"She is my Luna!" he screamed at me.

"No, she is not!" I snapped back at him. "She belongs to another. She never belonged to you and never will."

The frustration on his face was sweet. God, I hated werewolves.
