NATHANIEL POV

During the ceremony, I felt how scared she suddenly became after I spoke to her for the first time, she decided to act brave but I outsmarted her.

After the ceremony, I ordered one of my guards to take her to my mansion in Seattle because I needed some private time to show her how to behave.

Seattle is where my head office is located, that is where I spend most of my time in the mundane world.

But first I need to get David to handle every matter for the meantime when I'm away

"David I...."

I think I entered at the wrong time because I found him sucking and biting Marissa neck while she was on top of him.

"Ah Nathan why can't you ever learn to respect one's privacy"

David groaned

Marissa knew it was her cue to leave so she left and closed the door behind her. I saw the look in David's eyes, he was pissed off, I just laughed at his baby face and sat on his desk.

"So...I'm so sorry for disturbing your office sex with your wife"

I said mockingly

He just rolled his eyes and started buttoning his shirt and fixing his already messed up hair.

"I came here to inform you that you will be handling all matters of the park in my absence"

"And why will I do that"

He said in a pissed off tone.

This man has some gut.

"Because I'm your Alpha and you the Beta, so you are entitled to take care of the park situation when I'm absent"

"And how are you absent when I can see you in front of me now"

David queried

"I'm going away with my mate CPR what the mundanes call honeymoon, any problem with that?"

"But I didn't get to go on a honeymoon with Marissa"

He shrugged and pouted which made me laugh

"Don't worry you will when I come back"

Before he could reply my phone rang

Nathan: Hello

?: Alpha the Luna is presently at your Seattle residence.

Nathan: very good, I will be there by midnight

?: okay Alpha

Nathan: keep a close eye on her

?: No need to worry Alpha

**phone conversation end

"I hope you don't make your mother ashamed of you Nathan"

David said seriously before leaving.

I just need to get to my mate as soon as possible.

Ever since the marking ceremony, I crave her strawberry and lavender scent, it is so tantalising.

Oh, Nathaniel what is wrong with you....this woman is making you go insane.

MAYA POV

The strange feeling of being in an unknown place was creepy, including the feeling of loneliness.

All those fairy tales about the special kind of feeling you will experience after marking and mating...what mating, I can't mate with someone I don't know, I can't give an unknown person my virginity, it is not possible.....how can I get out when I don't even know where I am. I can't ask anyone because there is no one here, I bet those strange men that brought me here are anywhere around.

I need to get out of here even if it seems so desolate, but I need to try my best.

After 30 minutes

Oh my world, how can someone build a house as big as this, I can't even find the main staircase, I'm so exhausted right now.

That giant door....to da I found it, the main door, oh moon goddess just help me get out of this hell hole.

As I opened the giant door, I came in view with a place similar to paradise, but I need to accept the truth, yes it lookalike paradise but it is not one.

When I got to the main gates of the mansion, the gates suddenly opened, I guessed it was my luck but it didn't seem to last for long as a roll of different brands of cars drove in.

Call it a gut feeling but I am 99% sure Nathan is inside one of the cars. But I need to get out of here.....the opened gates were my gate pass from hell.

As I was about to run away a strong arm wrapped around my waist and I could feel the person's harsh breathing on the nape of my neck.

" Princessa, and where do you think you are going?"

The voice was as thick as a strict high school principal, Lost in his words.

"I asked you a question and again where did you think you are going to?"

"I..I..."

Words refused to form and I just tried to struggle myself away from his grip.

"If you continue shaking like that you might not be able to walk for two days"

Realising the meaning of what he said I stopped and gave up. I'm sure he will be smirking because that is like his signature.

"Before that, we need to get you to answer me and you also need to learn a lot of things Princessa"

He said deeply, before lifting me into the house.

NATHAN POV

she surely tried to run away and thank my stars that I got here right in time or else...

First I need to teach her some manners.

After taking my bath, I came out from the bathroom with only a towel on my waist and when she saw me, she was shocked....such innocence

"Like what you see"

I said proudly while slowly rubbing my parts...

"No it's just that I have never seen or been in the situation whereby I'm in the same room with a male, it was only with....."

Confused because of her uncompleted speech I Know she is hiding something big from me

"And what is it about...."

I asked inquisitively

"I...me..an only my cousin, yes my cousin that is the only male"

She said nervously

The fact that she has seen her cousin's upper part made me want to know more about her family and the relationship she and each of them share, but pending matters made me stop.

"Okay that alright"

I said smiling mischievously while moving toward her until her back came in contact with the wall and trapped her with my hands on both sides before tracing a line of her hair behind her ear and lifting her face to make her look at me.

"Nathan, what are you doing"

She said with fear evident in her eyes.

The way my name rolled out of her mouth gave a tingling sensation in my belly.

"I'm only trying to finish our ceremony.... you know the marking and mating one....we ought to mate and you are old enough to know the meaning of sex or do I need to lecture you"

I spat angrily, cause other women would be during to be in her position and here she is behaving like a child.

"Nathan, I need to tell you something"

She replied not even scared of my anger, this woman has some courage.

"Go on"

I said nodding my head

"You know, this whole relationship, it just seems weird for us to start it with sex without learning each other"

This woman is unbelievable, never in my twenty-six years on earth has anyone had the courage to defy me, and here she is lecturing me about relationships.

"And do you think I care....as a man I have needs and you as my mate, you have to fulfil it"

Smiling inside my head at the numb expression on her face.

"So you are trying to insinuate that?"

I snarled angrily

When she was not responding it was as if I was being burnt alive.

I gripped her jaw with the pain of her challenging my authority.

"Look Princessa, I'm not just in the mood today, if not I would have had my way with you, so the next time I ask for sex, I need your full cooperation, do you understand?"

When she noticed the level of my anger, she quickly nodded her head and I released my grip from her jaw before going to my side of the bed and turning off the headlamp.
