ALPHA KALISTA DRACONIS' POV

I stand in front of the room, and I do not know what to do. Everything in me freezes, and a lot is going through my mind. Even though I did not envisage coming into contact with the vaccine in this way, I know that I have to get my hand on it. If not, I will not forgive myself if I lose the opportunity.

Maybe this is the Moon Goddess answering my earnest prayers. I honestly do not want my friend to die, and my heart breaks when I think about how much my people are suffering. 

Thus, I decide to go into the room. 

Just as I am about to move from the spot to which I have been transfixed for a while now, I hear footsteps behind me.
