Ryley clearly fell into panic when he heard the question leave Alex's lips. And more so when he felt the night breeze swept the surface of his pale cheeks, leaving it frozen just like the suspense in his heart.

"It's clear that he's an Alpha. Did he.... mark you...?" Alex asked again after he adjusted his seat, his calm gaze never left the blond's face.
Ryley bit his lower lips when he realized what could have happened when he was still unconscious. He couldn't answer Alex's question, but instead of lying and making an excuse, he moved his palm to grasp his nape.
The tip of his fingers seemed to caress every inch of his white skin carefully, as if trying to find any trace that the Alpha left on him.
"Does he know about... your secret?" Alex returned to questioning again, and this time his tone changed.
