Chapter 212 - We Meet Again

As soon as he heard the order, Vincent unfastened his seatbelt and stepped out of the car, then opened the passenger's door without saying anything.

"Come in," Clyde said, patting the vacant seat beside him. 

Marsha blinked in surprise at first, but then happily hopped inside the car with a beaming smile.

Her cheeks blushed as she stammered, "U-uhmm... I..." 

"Why did you jump like that? It's dangerous, don't do it again." Clyde interrupted, reminding her with a tender gaze.

Marsha dropped her jaw at how unusually gentle Clyde was, immediately clinging to his arm, squealing. "But it's your fault!!"

The Alpha clenched his palm into fist as soon as they touched, but then he held back whatever was about to explode in his chest and exhaled a deep breath. "What's my fault? I don't understand it." 

"I heard you've found your mate!" Marsha pouted her lips, "It's a lie, right? Tell me you were just lying!"
