Giovietta looked at Suindara, her mouth open in disbelief. He simply said he didn't love her, after all the intimacy they'd had. She felt… silly. Embarrassed. Vulgar. Dirty. 

She retracted her legs closer to her body, in order to prevent Suindara from continuing there, between them.

He realized the effect his words had, and as much as he wanted to push her away, he couldn't. He wanted her close to him. 

Suindara pulled her to him, but she placed her gentle hands on his chest, pushing him away. Swuindara held her hands.

"Look at me." She denied with her head. "Look at me, Giovietta."

She did, her eyes filling with tears. It was like a stab right through his heart.

"You… I think I better go."

"I didn't mean I don't want you."

"You do not love me." She spoke, her voice shaky. "I feel so…"

"I feel more than love for you. If that is possible." He said and Giovietta, who was looking at his chest, widened her eyes and looked up.
