Sophie frowned.
"But… she said it was someone big, strong… and gorgeous, so I assumed…" Sophie was blushing terribly.
"Well, then it could never be me. I'm not handsome." He said.
"I'll only be able to agree or not with you when I see for myself." She said, her chin up and Petrus smiled. As much as Sophie couldn't see his lips, it was clear that those eyes were smiling. "I hope you won't let me hang for too long."
"OK… you asked for it." He said and looked around. He raised his hands and started to pull his helmet off. When he did, he had his eyes closed and Sophie saw the part of his face that was not damaged, until he turned his head to look straight at her. His eyes were looking at her with fear, challenge and sorrow.
Sophie took one step ahead and raised her hand to touch his face. First, the normal side, then, with the other hand, the wounded one.
