Chapter 42

“Ugh-,” I grunted as I slowly opened my eyes.

“What’s this?”, I look around. I was in a heavily dark room, with no windows and no light.

“Hey young lady,” I heard a distant voice call out to me. I jerk my head towards the direction to see it was empty.

“Boo!”, I jumped from my seat as I saw a young boy in front of me. He was wearing shorts and he seemed cheerful.

“Who are you?”, I ask him as he looked like he was shocked by my question.

“You don’t remember me? I’m Urthure!”, he exclaimed and I racked my brain, however, I really couldn’t remember anyone.

It hit me, I can’t remember anyone! My eyes widened as I looked at the boy, “Who am I? Why am I here?”

“Where’s my mother? Where’s Alpha Ashyx?”, I asked desperately, my mother and my favorite mentor were nowhere in sight.

“You mean Alpha Terran?”, he asked and I looked at him confused, “Alpha who?”

The boy stayed silent for a while before finally sitting up, my legs had been feeling tired from his weight pressing down on me.
