The Alpha's Downfall

Among the approximately two million middle school students who took the exam, only the top 100 scorers of the entrance examination are offered a scholarship in the most prestigious school in the country, Chen Academy. One of the students who were offered a scholarship was Uriel Delavin, a seemingly narcissistic omega who grew up in the countryside and was showered with endless compliments from those around him. Breathtakingly beautiful and blessed with intellect, everybody in his hometown looks up to him and envies him. The reigning king of the school of the elites, Theodore Greene, is an arrogant alpha who grew up pampered and spoiled by his parents. Devilishly handsome, charismatic, smart, and filthy rich, there was no doubt that he was branded as the man who was at the top of their school. What will happen when these two people meet? With their incompatible personalities, how will their love story unfold? __________ "Where did it all go wrong?" That was the question I had inside my head for so long. Perhaps, I knew the answer all along but just chose to ignore it. You're my biggest mistake. You're my destruction. You're the only person who has ever led me to my downfall. You make me so vulnerable. Seeing how you ignore me as if we're perfect strangers finally made me realize my mistakes and opened my eyes to see the answer to my question. 'Where did it all go wrong?' I can now answer this question after pondering about it for the longest time. It all went wrong from the very first time I met you. It all went wrong from the very first time I laid my eyes on you. It all went wrong from the very first time I spoke to you. It all went wrong because... ... you're you. Because you're Uriel Delavin, my favorite mistake, my most beautiful destruction, and my sweetest downfall. ----- *R18* NOTE: This story contains sexual content and vulgar words that may not be appropriate for some readers. Chapter 3

HIS POINT OF VIEW:

[A few minutes ago]

'Who's that kid? He looks so out of place,' I thought as I looked at a blond-haired boy walking, carrying an army green-colored bag in his hands.

He looks like a country bumpkin. I can tell just from seeing how he looks so conscious in his surroundings.

"Why are you butting in?" my cousin, Chesca, frowned at me as she faced me. "Besides, why are you here, Theodore?" she continued.

"My Theo came here for me," Victoria said as she snaked her arm around mine.

"Dude, get off of me," I said as I removed her arm and pushed her slightly. She just stared at me as she frowned. "What?" I raised my brow as I looked at her. "Whatever," she rolled her eyes.

Every day, I can see her adapting my cousin's unpleasant attitude. She should really stop hanging out with Chesca.

"Shoo! You have no reason to stay here," Chesca rolled her eyes. "If you keep rolling your eyes like that, your eyes might not become normal again," I said with a serious look on my face.

"What? Really?" Chesca cupped her cheeks as she looked at me with a worried look on her face. "Of course, I'm kidding. Are you an idiot?" I said as I looked at her with a judgmental look.

"Ugh, so annoying! Just leave!" she glared at me. "Can't. I'll be staying here too," I said as I took my key card from my pocket. "See?" I said as I showed it to her.

"302? Mine is 506," Victoria frowned. "I guess this is goodbye, my love," she said as she wiped an imaginary tear from her eye and sobbed.

"Yeah, see you never." A half-smile curved on my lips as I raised my brows. "I'm heading up," I said and started walking, leaving them behind. "You jerk! You'll fall in love with me someday, Theodore!" she yelled.

I just raised my hand and waved goodbye, not looking back at them.

I walked to the elevator and waited for it to open along with some other people who seemed to be students.

"OMG! It's Theodore!"

"Is he staying here, too? I hope my room is next to his!"

"Is it just me or does he look hotter?"

"I totally get you, haha!"

They do know I can hear them, right? Or are they deliberately talking that loud so I can hear them?

Don't know and don't care.

"Ding!"

The elevator doors opened and I went inside along with the others. I pressed the button to the 3rd floor and looked up, watching the floor number change.

Nobody got off on the other floors until we reached the 3rd floor, so I reached the floor without going through any stops.

The moment the elevator doors opened, the phone inside my pocket vibrated. I immediately headed out and took my phone and answered the call.

"Did you get to school already?" my Mom asked from the other line. "Yeah. I'm heading to my room right now. I was just about to call you," I responded.

I was walking pretty slowly as I spoke with my Mom on the phone that someone from behind already walked past me.

"Don't forget to eat your meals and don't forget to shower," he said on the other line. "Come on, Mom! You know I always shower," I frowned. "I know, I know. I'm just reminding you," he said and giggled.

Man, my mom makes me feel weirdly embarrassed.

"Anyway, honey, the shoot is starting soon so I'll have to end the call for now. Have fun in your stay there and be a good boy. I love you!" he said over the phone. Before I could even respond, the phone call already ended.

24 seconds, huh? Well, it's not like this is something new. Mom is always busy since he's a famous actor.

I put my phone inside my pocket and took the key card out. I looked at it once again to confirm my room number and saw that it's 302.

I looked at the numbers on the doors to look for my room and walked a bit faster when I finally found it.

Standing in front of the room next to mine was a blond-haired boy. I looked at him and saw that he had a troubled look on his face.

It's the country bumpkin from earlier.

He looked at his card and tried swiping it on the narrow space on the door, making the corners of my lips tremble as I tried not to smile or let out a chuckle.

His eyebrows scrunched as he looked at the card once again. He looked so troubled that I just looked away so I wouldn't laugh at him.

"Granny, help me..." he mumbled as he swiped the card once again.

Without realizing it, a half-smile formed on my lips as I scoffed from seeing him look so troubled and hearing him call for his grandma just because he can't open the door.

I tapped the key card on the key card reader and the door to my room opened. I glanced at him and saw that he was looking in my direction.

Now that I've taken a look at the front view of his face, I can now see that he looks rather... beautiful.

Pale skin, blond hair, almond-shaped brown eyes, thick eyelashes, rosy cheeks, and reddish lips that made him look even paler.

Is he an omega?

If he is, he's pretty good at controlling his pheromones. I don't know a lot of male omegas, so he's quite a rare sight to see.

I raised my card and tapped it on the key card reader, showing him again how it's done.

After showing it to him, I pushed the door open and went inside. The room that welcomed me was clean and tidy.

This isn't as big as my room back home, but this will do.

Just like Victoria, I'm still trying how it feels to stay in a dormitory. I figured it would be better to be a bit far from my parents so I can be independent. Besides, I'd want nothing more than to find peace by not hearing my sister's annoying voice.

She takes after Chesca, you see.

My eyes scanned the entire room and saw that looks so empty without my stuff from back home.

I hopped on my bed and stared blankly at the white ceiling. Only one thought occupied my mind as I felt boredom eating me up.

'I hope classes start soon...'

I then remembered the kid staying in the room next to mine. His face still seemed weirdly clear in my head even though I'm the type who can't remember people's faces easily.

I can still remember how he looked as though he was facing the most challenging moment in his life.

A soft chuckle left my mouth.

"How cute."
