He blamed himself for how Sarah had disappeared from the packhouse. If he hadn't told her in a harsh voice to stop the fight she had had with Alisha and Xana, then she wouldn't have run out of the mansion and not returned since three days ago. To crown it all, he hadn't even realized that she wasn't home anymore until yesterday.

After the little quarrel between the three women that say that he has interfered in, Adam had slept off without first going over to her to pacify her as he had planned to. The next day when he woke up, he had planned to go over to her when a call had come in and his manager had told him that his attention was urgently needed.
