chapter 27- Richard’s POV

Chapter 27-

I placed a kiss on her forehead, it was my way of letting her know that I was going to free her from me. I didn't want to hurt her or get her entangled in my web. With everything going on, her mum and stepdad I didn't want to add to it. I knew I was only going to bring her more pain and heartbreak, she deserved better.

Blaire had been through so much and if I knew it was that way, I wouldn't have done all the things I did to her. There was just something about that little girl that made me want to get closer to her, I couldn't seem to control myself anytime she was around.

I wanted to protect her at all costs even if it meant leaving her or being cold toward her. She can't handle me only Lisa could and I'd focus all my attention on Lisa. I had to look for Lisa, she moved back to her family house because I stopped giving her attention. I had neglected her a lot with the excuse that I had things to do.
