Chapter 46-

When Alpha Gideon said they would need me for an asset I knew it had something to do with me regaining my strength. I was sure the news had already spread through town and far beyond. I wasn't about to do anything for Alpha Gideon or help him in any way.

"I'm not going to be an asset to you and I'll never be." My words, fueled by anger, spilled out, creating an irreparable rift in our already strained relationship.

Again, he smiled at me. I hated it whenever he smiled, I felt like using my claws to scratch my face but he already had a mark on his face. I preferred how he was the last time I was here, always frowning, suited his face better.

"I do not think you have a choice." He said and snapped his fingers in the direction of the guards. "Take her to her room."
