Sophie's POV

Sophie dragged herself out of her room. She did look good and she knew it. Her raven black hair and ocean blue even popped out with the dark eye makeup she has done.

Unlike the other selkies, Sophie really liked to dress in dark colours, especially black or royal blue. Coincidentally, this was the exact colour she has been wearing, royal blue.

The dress has a corset at the top with straps and a flowy fitted skirt at the bottom. She was confident that she was looking good.

A smirk played on her lips as she remembered how much of a power her looks held over sailor men. Humans were the easiest to seduce.

Lately with Tyrion she has been behaving differently which would've bothered her earlier, but it doesn't now. If becoming this person ensured her his love then so be it, she can be this person for him.

She enters the hall and all eyes fell upon her, she smirks.

Acting like she didn't notice the men gawking at her, she makes her way over to the counter where both men and women were having drinks. She wasn't here for the drinks, she just wanted to act like she's busy.

"Looks like I found you" a voice startles her and she turns around to find Liana standing in a beige dress.

"Liana. You look good" Sophie genuinely comments and Liana's charming smile widens.

"As if I don't know" liana jokes and Sophie wonders about her arrogant side. "Oh my god, don't turn back. That bitch Chloe is passing"

"Looks like someone got on your hit list" Sophie chuckles as excitement to see the woman fills her.

"Don't even ask. She saw my room once when I was going out and since then she is shouting on me like crazy to exchange. I mean, could you imagine" Liana sighs as the subject of interest passes them, giving them a mean look.

"Is she gone yet?" Sophie speaks and Liana nods.

They talk for awhile and Liana introduces her to the other princesses. A princess named Helena catches her eye. Helena was elegant and classy. Helena ignored a waiter who was offering her a drink. Maybe the classy princess does have attitude issues.

Sophie's eyes stayed on Helena when suddenly Tyrion entered the hall. Everyone went silent and a lot of people bowed their heads in respect. Helena went to Tyrion and they started talking as everyone went back to what they were doing.

"He's so handsome right" Liana sighed and Sophie fought the urge to punch her in the face.

"He knows princess Helena?" Sophie questioned.

"Oh, yeah. They are childhood friends. Can you imagine she left her mate for her childhood friend? Makes me wonder if he really was just a friend" Liana commented with a duh tone.

"They look like they're enjoying themselves" Sophie commented as she saw them laughing too hard. Helena even smiled at the waiter she earlier ignored. What an arrogant woman Sophie thought.

A waiter came to offer Sophie a drink as Helena mingled with another princess. Sophie's eyes stared into the waiter's and in a second, the waiter looked like a robot, following her instructions. She has lured him.

Sophie made her way towards Tyrion and Helena and every set of eyes stared at her. Tyrion caught a look of her and froze. Sophie's cheeks started burning and she felt like a stupid teenager all over again.

"Good even Tyrion" Sophie smiled as she stepped infront of him. Tyrion took a deep breath and his cheeks started reddening.

"Good evening princess" Tyrion looked at her in awe. Even if he just did her hair and left, she looked even prettier than before now that she was all dressed. "You look stunning princess" Tyrion spoke as he nervously scratched his head.

Sophie giggled "You yourself look too good Tyrion." Sophie commented. Both of them had so much more in mind than they were speaking.

"Looks like you made a friend Tyrion" Helena commented, breaking their little interaction. Helena hated the fact that Sophie could so easily divert Tyrion's attention to herself.

"Well" Tyrion contemplated the word friend, he and Sophie were more than that "This is princess Jada. Princess Jada, this is Helena" he introduced the both of them.

Both women were acting to be good in front of him "I'm Helena" Helena extended a hand to shame for Sophie.

"Jada" Sophie shook her hand.

"Me and Tyrion were just about to have a dance if you don't mind" Helena broke out of her shell a little because she saw how Tyrion's eyes admired Sophie while she spoke.

Tyrion got uncomfortable by the way Helena had just interrupted Sophie.

"Sure, I don't mind" Sophie replied and turned to Tyrion, that stupid blush making her stutter again "I'll be waiting for my turn Tyrion" Sophie said and Tyrion smiled. But Tyrion's smiled vanished as Helena started pulling him.

Sophie smirked as the waiter she had controlled came and crashed into Helena, ruining her dress. Helena screamed getting everybody's attention. The glare that woman had on that poor waiter made Sophie feel guilt but she couldn't care less.

Sophie made her way to the duo of Helena and Tyrion.

"Oh my god this dress is totally ruined" Sophie faked a gasp "wait let me help you" She said as she took a set of tissues from a passing waiter.

"That's too nice of you princess" Tyrion looked his little monster in awe as she made the strain even worse by rubbing it all over.

"I think you should change princess Helena. Everybody is whispering about you" Sophie lowly spoke as if to seem innocent.

"I don't think I have another option" Helena sighed "I'll be back Tyrion" Helena spoke and left.

Tyrion couldn't care less as his eyes were focused on Sophie.

"Fancy a dance with me princess?" Tyrion held out his and and Sophie agreed.

Both of them made their way to the centre of the hall and every pair of eyes were on them.

Tyrion's hands went to her waist and she rested hers on his shoulders. They were so close again that Sophie could hear his heartbeat. She looked down and gulped. Her face must have reddened she wondered.

"You look like a dream" Tyrion spoke in a whisper as it hit her forehead. She looked up at him through her lashes and his heart sped up.

"And you're the best part about that dream" she replied suddenly confident.

"Jada" he whispered as his head dropped. He wanted to kiss her but he couldn't. They swayed to the music for some time when another princess asked him to dance, he couldn't say no as today he needs to send 2 princesses back home so he needs to talk to everyone.

Sophie left the centre of the hall and was on her way to the bathroom when something caught her eye. A woman who had just passed her, has black hands. Sophie could just see her hands as the woman was practically running across the hall. The black veins in her hand were too prominent.

Sophie started following the woman hastily. Something was wrong, only the cursed sirens or selkies had that kind of hand and the only cursed siren who is freely roaming is Goeth.

She followed the woman as she left the hall and entered the narrow corridor. She must be here to do something, Sophie thought as she tried to dodge people.

The woman took a left turn which led to the North side of the alpha house. Then the woman started walking faster.

Sophie had an idea of where that woman was going and it was confirmed as she stopped infront of a room, Tyrion's room. Either this woman was here to steal something, cast a spell, destroy something or god knows what. There must be something worth risking it all.

Black smoke surrounded that woman and after a second, she vanished into thin air.

Sophie was now sure that this woman meant no good.

She took a deep breath as she stood infront of the room, door knob in her hands. Calming herself, she twisted the knob and entered.

Sophie turned on the w switch to illuminate the room but nothing helped the darkness. Several voices started speaking all at once and Sophie felt like she was trapped.

From every direction of hers a hundred voices spoke. They started slowly humming an enchanting song. Sophie knew what it was! They were trying to possess her.

This meant that the woman was just a way to bring her here.

Sophie pressed her index finger into the crook of her neck to focus. She closed her eyes as she thought about water. This time, she won't let them win. Her hands became wet as her fingertips had collected water. The water then turned into silver threads spraying from her fingers. She can easily take all of these souls, after all she was royalty.

The voices started shrieking as the silver threads started oozing out of her hands and dispersing in the air.

The cloud of darkness started decreasing and she lifted her hands even more. The souls were shrieking so much that her ears started hurting.

Slowly slowly, the light in the room became visible.

Finally, the spirits vanished as Sophie regained her posture. This took more energy than I thought it would- Sophie thought.

There must be some passage which allowed the spirits to come here, she thought and started going through the stuff in that room.

It made her feel bad to invade Tyrion's privacy but she ignored that feeling because she was doing him a favour by taking care of this.

Surely, when she reached a drawer, she felt the darkness oozing from it. She opened it and saw the bones of a siren thumb lying there. She picked it in an instant and it burned her skin. Black rashes developed on her hand and she ran out of the room.

She needs to dispose this otherwise this will let those spirits enter this place any moment they will be spelled.

She ran to her room and opened a small box, inside it was a shell which was connected to a chain. Tears filled her eyes as she opened the shell and kept the bone inside it.

She closed the drawer again and sat on her bed.

"Jada!" Liana exclaimed as she entered Sophie's room.

"Where were you, I was looking for you. Even Tyrion asked me twice about you. They are-" she stopped mid sentence as she saw the wild look on Sophie's face. "Are you alright?" Liana asked as she took the spot next to Sophie.

"Yeah I just, I just felt really sick so I came here" Sophie spoke, wishing that Liana trusts her on this.

"Must have been the weakness, you fainted in the day aswell. I think you should rest." Liana suggested as Sophie shook her head.

"No I'm fine. What were you saying by the way?" Sophie tried changing the subject.

"Oh that" Liana jumped "they are about to announce which princess goes home. I think it already started judging by the claps."

"Let's go then" Sophie said.

"Only if you're alright. You can rest, I'll tell them that you're not well"

"Not needed, let's hurry now"

Both women ran down to the hall as the claps started slowing.
