GENESIS

I broke in a sweat waking up from the nightmare I had just had.

I put my hand on my head to ease the banging headache

I had been having nightmares since I returned back to the pack a few months ago and had as usual had no recollection of what I had dreamed of.

I didn't want to wake up today.

I wanted to die in fact because today was my wedding day.

I was the runaway gamma's daughter who claimed to have zero memory of being missing for three years.

Did it baffle me as much as it baffled everyone else?

Hell yes.

I could not remember much.

I had tried to.

But the only thing I recalled was having an argument with my father and leaving the pack in anger.

It had been my eighteenth birthday and I wanted my freedom into the human world .

But my father who had lied to me that I would eventually be given it, told me that I was betrothed to Ryan.

A cruel young man who was going to be the next Alpha of the strongest pack amongst the twelve founding packs.

Filled with hurt and betrayal I ran away and everything went bleak.

The only thing I remembered after that was staggering up to my pack and falling down.

Apparently I had been thought for dead and been missing for three whole years.

I was currently twenty one and I had zero recollection of the other three years!

None!

Of course a lot of the pack members think that it is me being me as usual and that I was lying to gain attention.

After all any normal girl would want to marry Ryan.

But I am as bewildered as anyone else.

And I am being forced into this marriage.

"Rise and shine!"

My door was kicked open and my gorgeous aunt Celia, my late mother's sister came in to my room.

She flung the curtains open and I groaned and put the blanket back over my head.

"It is your wedding day you are going to be late." She said and I was certain that her hands were on her waist.

I ignored her and then I heard her heels approaching and I knew she was going to drag me out from under the blanket.

I finally sat up.

"Was that so bad?" She asked me. "Did you have your beauty sleep? You have drool on your mouth."

And then she proceeded to wipe off the dried saliva.

"Ewwwww aunt Cece." I complained even though I enjoyed it.
