Chapter 3

Alexia stand their like a statue and words can't come out from her mouth. He's standing just a few steps away from her. 

"Alexia"- he said my name with the tone of longing.

If I could just run towards him, I would embrace him so tight but that was not the situation. As soon as my name was spoken by him, the pain that he cause me brings back unpleasant memories.

"Stay away from me! Don't even move your feet a single step," was the first statement that I said towards him. He was taken aback but he did as I told him.

"Please, Alexia let's talk," he said.

"Their's nothing to talk about and please let me leave here quietly. I don't want to be seen with you. Go back to your girl," I said before running towards the exit.

Her words sting and I know I deserve it. The way she speaks like I'm nothing but a nightmare hurts me.

"Baby, why did you leave me alone? You know you should..."-Olive.

"Shut up and don't call me baby. I'm tired let's go back."

I mind-linked Caleb, my beta, to tell him we're going home.

Alexia drive as fast as she could and by the time she reached home, Jane was there waiting for her with a worried face. Alexia run and embrace her as she leads her toward alexias room. Alexia cried and told her everything.

"I'm sorry Xia. If I know this would happen, I should have gone with you. That a**hole. I'm going to kill him. He dared to run after you after five years, I won't forgive him."- Jane.

"Jane it hurts so damn much. I thought I was over him. I thought I could live like he didn't matter."

" Xia, you're an alpha now and you need to get a hold of yourself. Tomorrow, your duty will start."- Jane

I sleep crying and once again promising myself that I would be stronger with my resolve. The pain he caused me will always hunt me.

Morning comes and I walk up early to join in patrolling the borders. It is reported that a few rogues were spotted. 

"Alpha, what an honor to see you in the border. I am Casper and this is Maimah"- he said while pointing the girl beside her. " We are part of the warriors and we are also scheduled to patrol the borders for the week. "

"Thank you Caleb and Maimah for securing and protecting our pack. Maimah, would you mind sparring with me after our patrol?"-I said.

"It would be an honor, Alpha"-Maimah. 

After an hour of patrolling, Maimah and I are headed towards the training field. We both change on our sports clothing.

****in the ring****

"Let's begin"-I said.

I waited for her to make her move and as I observe her,  she is a fine warrior. She leaps towards me and tries to throw a punch towards my face but before her fist reach my face, I blocked it and did a counter punch. My fist landed directly to her eyes and I'm sure that it would cause a mark later. She didn't hesitate and after receiving that punch from me, she kick me causing me to fly a little farther. I stand up and our fight continues. We grappled for  a few minutes and when I spotted the chance, I did a tazzmission lock that causes her to give up.

We stand up and I notice a few of the pack members watching. Their eyes are full with awe, respect and otherd deem to be shock. I was trained by my father since I was six.

"You really deserve the title Alpha. I promised to train more,"- Maimah.

"You are one fine woman with the heart and strength of a warrior. I've been told you're one of the best warrior."- I told her.

"Thank you, Alpha Alexia,"- Maimah.

We finished chatting and I go inside to take shower. The cold water hits me and after showering, I decided to return to the main house. Before I enter, Jane grab me abruptly.

"Where have you been the whole morning?"- Jane.

"Well, I just finished patrolling the area and training. Why?"- I said.

"I was trying to talk to you but you shut your link. I don't know what's happening inside but I'm sure you don't want to enter."- Jane.

"Why?"- I asked her again. She's acting different and I know something is wrong.

" Don't you why why me! He's in their talking to your father!"- she said furiously.

"Philip"- that was the only word that came out my mouth.

I turn my back from Jane and started walking towards the entrance but before I pull the door knob, Jane grab me once again.

" What do you think are you doing?"- Jane.

"Jane I think it's time to face him and tell my parents the truth of to why I live our pack. Their's no secret that can't be unfold"- I said.

She let go of my hand and as soon as I open the door, I can see him and my father was looking at me curiously.
