File: Drathon Exavier

After Drathon had gone into hiding the military saught to gather as much data on the assassin as possible. As they were determined to bring him in and serve for his crimes. The head of this endeavour was a Lieutenant Colonel Mustang of the titan branch of military operations, under the supervision of General David Copperfield a man of actions but not one to shy from his duties on behalf of action in the field no, being tied to a desk and briefing rooms was all too familiar at this point. though hearing of a possible threat to safety of the public or so he was briefed the assassin was looked into.

The sound of a grandfather clock ticked back and forth to the left side of the room a large but fairly empty room. the only other things were a large oak desk and a set of double spruce doors to a balcony that overlooked the city.

"Sir. should we get to business?"

asks the lieutenant colonel, on the tock of the grandfather clock. the general rasing his head to meet him.

"Yes, tell me what you know about this, emotionless assassin? is that how were tagging him?"

The general asks with his brow piqued in confusion as he meets the gaze of his subordinate

"Yes sir. That's is what the officers have resorted to nicknaming him."

He quickly replied to the superior. Now worried about the response of the general, he was a serious man and was commited to bringing in men like this, assassin's. Men who murder others without cause. However all his recent hits were nobles.

The general would give a short sigh before taking out his smoking pipe and lighting it placing the papers on the desk as he does.

"What's the current bounty on his head Lieutenant colonel?"

"Two hundred sir."

He responded quickly looking over at the general, who at this point had taken a few puffs from his pipe smoke coming from the end of it and more filled the room as he blew out.

"Up it to Six hundred and see what the hunters say."

"Of course sir. However-"

"However what? Lieutenant colonel?"

"Most hunters won't go near him. I feel we should rally the magic knights for this. There's a rookie by the name of Pyros. He did exceptionally well on the entrance exam. Written and physical."

"Is that your personal opinion Mustang?"

"No sir, the point of rallying the magic knights has been whispered among the MPs and the senior staff."

"I see. So this Pyros kid? You think he'll be able to help? I will assist him with my own recourses. I've been keeping up to date the latest information."

"Alright then. You can head the hunt for this emotionless assassin Mustang. I trust you not to disappoint."

The general says fixing his gaze on the lieutenant colonel. He then stands, almost towering over the officer and salutes him.

"Thank you general. I won't let you down."

He returns the salute immediately before leaving the large office. The general sat back down at his wide oak desk and looks over the files again this time in detail he knew that Mustang was resourceful and that he wouldn't fail in this mission however going after a trained killer was something different. He would only pray to Luna that she would keep him alive to see another day.

As Mustang left the Generals office he would return to his own office where he would have more paperwork to do and research to conduct, you see Mustang was no ordinary soldier as he was one of the few that carried a gun and one of the fewer that used magic. His weapon of choice was a custom six shot revolver style pistol made by the gunsmith of titan. It was a gift for when he was promoted to his current rank.

As he walked down the bustling halls of the base heading towards his office passing other officers of varying rank he came across a particular man who began walking along side him accompanying him as he walked through the halls.

" Lt. Tiseman."

Mustang says as he turns a corner down another hall which was far quieter than the last, his eyes forward unwavering.

"As focused as ever Rory. What news on the assassin case you're working? anything new?"

Tiseman mentions, Mustang takes a moment with a heavy sigh looks briefly to his colleague.

"Nothing concrete, some sources say he's been hiding out in the forest towards oak-hold. others say he's joined forces with the new leader of the thieves guild. Another source says he's fled north towards the mountains. You see why it's hard to find a lead?" He replies to Tiseman looking him in the eyes. Without words Tiseman nodded silently and supportingly to his friend.

"You have the support of my office anytime Lt. Colonel. In the meantime how about a drink? You still keep that whiskey you like in the drawer right?" Tiseman says with a slight grin as they start walking again. The two men were good soldiers and friends. Mustang looked at him with a sigh before nodding. Tisemans blonde hair almost shimmered as he passed a window, the sun was slowly setting, and there was still work to do.

"Maybe another day Lieutenant, I have more paper work to complete before I can leave." Rory says walking along and passing Tiseman as he'd stopped, "Fine, next time I'll just drag you to the tavern alright." He replied as the dark haired man passed him and continued on.

"How about when you get promoted a rank ey lieutenant?" Mustang teased as he continues on. Tiseman took a moment and composed himself as he stood up straight and saluted Mustang.

"Yes sir."

Later on Mustang sat at his desk alone with a glass of malt whisky at his side. He once again found himself staring at the file of this assassin. All his targets of the last year were nobles with unsavoury connections, however his last kill was just under a year ago, a noble living in the upper section of the noble district, it was later found out he was involved in hybrid trafficking. Hybrid races haven't always been seen in the best of light but have over all been accepted and can be granted to be citizens of Valencia. However some are orphaned and then taken to be trafficked and sold off as property. Mostly Filonté hybrids are subjected to this. However in the winter of last year they slipped and were caught by the military with help from the magic knights one of the big names being Zuko Pyros and Blaine Aqua. Fantastic magic knights in their own right. Mustang had worked on them and witnessed as Zuko stormed the hideout with his flames while Blaine and himself helped the victims. He took a sip of his whiskey and sighed, he signed off one last document then stacked the papers to one side for tomorrow. It was time to stop for today and head home.
