The Aldwood Massacre: Prologue

I was running, running as fast as I can. Running for my life. My heart starts beating faster than ever, my breathing became rapid, and my legs and feet feel number the further I run.

While I was running, I remember someone. Someone that came with me to investigate something.

Gustavio! We parted ways when we were found by Carnage!

Oh no! What do I do?! I need to go back to find him! He might be in grave danger!

When I was about to run back where I came from, someone grabbed my arm. I immediately screamed for help and tried to get away from the grasps of the stranger.

"Candice! It is me! Regina!"

I looked at the one who held my arm, and it was really her. My dear bestfriend, Regina. I calmed down after realizing who grabbed my arm and hugged her while crying.

Like me, Regina was catching her breath, while putting her one hand to her chest, and the other one to her right arm. I noticed her right arm. That's why her left hand is covering a part of her right arm, she has a big wound! It is like a scrape from something sharp. Her wound was long and thin with blood gushing out slowly. I looked at her with a worried look.

"Regina? Are you okay? That seems bad, we need to get back in the car. Let's go!" as I was saying that, I held her left arm and started running.

As we reached the place where we parked, I immediately pulled out the duplicate key of the car and tried to unlock it. As the car unlocked right away, we went inside immediately and locked the car doors. We rolled down the window a little bit to have some air to get inside our car.

We were panting and sweating from the long run. I immediately noticed Regina crying. I looked at her with a worried look.

"Let me patch that up. That looks painful."

I opened the console of the car and grabbed the med-kit. I lay it on my lap and opened it. I picked up the cotton and poured a little bit of anti-septic in it. Then I treated the wound. I heard her moan for pain as soon as the cotton made contact with the skin. She is still crying though, maybe from the pain of my treatment. I will try to be gentle.

"H-Her-Herald... Bas-bast-basti... " she stuttered and cried.

"What?"

"He-Herald and Sebast-Sebastian were taken by C-Car-Carnage!" she muttered then wept a lot harder.

I was dumbfounded by what she said. No, this can't be. I don't want my friends to be the next victims. Please, someone save us.

I want to call the police, but I can't. My phone is not getting any signal. I checked her phone but she said her phone fell while running.

We have nothing to do here. After I patched her wounds, we just sat there still. Begging to God that they will come back. Praying for us to be saved.

We are doomed. Please someone. We need your help. We do not want to be slaughtered by Carnage. We do not want to be one of the victims of The Aldwood Massacre.
