I close my eyes as I lean on the couch. My mind racing through theories and calculations of all that can happen. My world has completely changed. Everyone's world has completely changed. "So does that mean I should start playing The Aeternus Universe? While I like games, it's been a really long time since I've played anything. I'm not really sure how I can handle a game like The Aeternus Universe..." Jessica brings me out of my mind with a question about what she should do. In truth, she doesn't have to play at all. All I want her to do is create a character with strong traits and come back out to the real world. I don't want her or my parents to be normal when more and more people aren't normal every second.

I take a breath and lift my head to look at Jess. "You don't have to play the game, Jess. Just make a character with strong traits and come back out with new abilities. What if that guy you knew has abilities now, and he uses them on you the next time he sees you? Don't you want to be able to defend yourself?" She takes it more seriously after I say that. You don't know what type of person is going to get abilities. How evil they truly are.

Sociopaths and psychopaths play games too. Who knows what crazy shit they'll do now that they are empowered. I stand up and make my way to the garage. I need to go somewhere, specifically an electronics store. I need to install an advanced security system into my home.

One that can detect any trespassers or people trying to breach security. "I'm heading out for a little bit, Jess. You know how to cook, so if you get hungry, help yourself into anything in the kitchen. If that doesn't suit you, then order something. There is money in the second drawer by the fridge." I enter the garage and turn my electric car on with the press of a button.

It turns on without a sound. I open the garage door with the click of a button, and I hop into my car. Once the garage door is finally open, I pull the car out and start driving. The first store I need to go to is an electronics store with all the tech I need to create a custom security system. Unfortunately, I can't access any military-grade equipment since I'm not in the military.

I can create better tech, though. My mind is so much more advanced. The only things that can compete with me are A.I.'s. Those are few in numbers too, the only places you see them are in multi-billion dollar companies and security systems for the government. They are expensive to build and maintain. The ones used in games are the highest cost for creating a game. The Aeternus Universe is probably a trillion-dollar build.

I don't know how many hyper-intelligent A.I.'s there are in that game, but based on the data I have. The best guess I can make is it's around 11. If I had more data, I could give an actual answer. I drive and think about what I need to build what I need for my house. Everything will be completely custom and far more advanced than any commercial product on the market.

My mind continues to absorb information and disassemble everything that I see as I drive. Even my own electric car was disassembled when I first looked at it. A normal mind would be totally overwhelmed by all this input, but the game changed that. My mind is no longer human. That brain scan from the headgear to input my traits onto my game character changed my brain. It's a Primodium brain, not a human brain.

I get a holo-call as I drive, and I answer as my mind continues to absorb all the information I see as I drive. "The news just said something important, Scott!!" Jess calls me in a panic. My mind is still racing through information. Many new things have been revealed to me in the last few seconds.

The first being the brain scan didn't just change my brain. It changed my DNA. If that happened to me, that is sure to have happened to other players. I'm no longer a human. I'm fully Primordium. Both in the real world and the game world. "People are starting to transform into their selected races in The Aeternus Universe. The shift in DNA and brain function took some time to take effect. Now people are changing down to the very deepest levels." Jess looks at me through the holo-call with confusion.

She asks me how I know that. I ignore her question as my mind continues its analysis of memorization of all information I have in view. Any tech continues to get disassembled and memorized. It would be too much if I were still human, but I'm not anymore.

It definitely changes things for GBFT Inc. The new data suggests people will demand blood, and this means the company will likely be dissolved. This doesn't affect The Aeternus Universe in the slightest, thankfully.

Too many people love the game to shut it down, but that won't save GBFT Inc. from these new developments. "Don't leave the house, Jess. Things are going to be chaotic for a while. Alien-looking beings will be walking around or rioting." She nods her head and turns off the holo-caller. I focus and slow down my mind from absorbing all the information. There is no need for it to be like this constantly. Once I gain control, I make it stop completely. I take a calming breath and relax.

The information input has stopped, and I start going through everything. I've learned so much about cars, building construction, anything that has a single piece of tech. After driving to my destination, I park in the parking lot and get out of my car. As I do, I can see alien-looking people getting arrested on the other side of the parking lot.

I ignore the sight and walk into the store. I look around and start my mind up. After a millisecond, everything in the room is in my mind being disassembled and memorized. After a couple of seconds, I start to design security systems in my head. I create one that can't be broken without A.I.'s help. I walk around the store, collecting the parts I need to make it.

I take it up to the counter and place all the tech on the counter. They all look random to the cashier. He looks at me with pimples all over his face. "Are you sure you know what you're looking for? None of these things are related..." I nod my head, and he scoffs. He rings them up, and I hand him my card. He takes it and swipes it.

I take my card back and leave the store with all my products. Now the next place I need to go is to mom and dads. They should be getting the delivery soon, and the robots will set it up. They'll certainly have questions for me, and I want to be there in person to answer them. I put the tech in my trunk and hop back into my car. I drive out of the parking lot and make my way towards mom and dad's.

As I drive, I notice more and more chaos. Police sirens going off every which way as well as ambulances. The people who want to abuse their new abilities are probably causing trouble now. I couldn't imagine turning into some big huge turtle alien without a shell. I see some of them walking down the streets with horror on their faces.

The transformations are sudden. Most people who were outside during their changes will be returning home, no longer human. I hop on the highway and head to the suburban area that mom and dad live. After cruising for 30 minutes, I take a left and exit the freeway. I start driving the suburbs until I reach mom and dad's house. As I turn down their road, a robot moving truck leaves the front of their house.

Perfect timing, just as I planned. Having a mind this powerful is unbelievable. I see the world through the eyes of a transcendent alien race. If I accumulated enough knowledge and data, I could outclass all types of A.I.'s. What separates us right now is how much they know cause I can learn and memorize just as fast, if not faster.

Recall all information like them. Problem-solve like them once I get enough data and knowledge. I can surpass all known types of A.I. I tame those thoughts. That's a long time away. I pull up in front of my parent's house, and a new plan forms. They will new to pick a race that looks humanoid at the least. That way, they don't start looking like crazy aliens. I quickly holo-call Jess and inform her of the change of plan. Things are about to get really complicated in the world.
