We Need A Song First

Gears typed on his computer and the answer to their question came out.

"I've got it. The demons are going to, Belle Fourche, South Dakota" Gears said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go" Violet said.

"And how do you suppose to get there, by riding your bike there? It would take a while and by that time the world would be lost" Frosty stated.

"True, but there should be a way of transporting you there" Gears said.

"Why are you focusing on me? I mean Frosty can't fly or move as fast as you guys either" Violet said.

"Well Frosty usually holds on to me with one of his frosted creations like a sleigh or carriage and I pull him so that's not a problem" Blazer said.

"But what about the heat?" Max asked.

"Frosty's ice is the only thing that can withstand my flames for extended periods of time" Blazer explained.

"Why not pull me in one of them then?" Violet said.

"Can't, the inside would be too cold for any human to last five minutes plus i always have to reduce the temperature constantly to keep my creations up" Frosty answered.

"Fair point"

"There has been something Gears, and I have been working and we propose it should work" Said Rodrigo.

"What is it?" she said.

"OH man! This is incredible!!" Violet yelled soaring through the air.

She had a twin engine silver jetpack worn on her back, Gears and Wave had been working on it for a while and that was the perfect opportunity. Blazer and Frosty travelled on the ground while the others flew with Slade calling on Storm for a ride.

"Don't get your head stuck in the clouds, we still have a town to save" Maverick said.

"Maverick, how are Blazer and Frosty doing?" Gears asked.

Max used his telescopic vision to see the two travelling way ahead of them.

"They are doing considering the fact that they are ahead of us" Maverick reported.

"Why use telescopic vision when you can put a tracker on em or use your satellite?" Violet asked.

"As much as I would love to do that, Blazer moves too fast and produces so much heat when running that most trackers fall of after a kilometer and using satellite tracking is almost the same" Gears explained.

The team arrived outside the town that had turned into a stronghold with a blockade made of demonic materials and more. The air around the town had a terrible smell and the clouds darkened over the area, the demonic presence there was as thick as ice.

"Well, we do know we made it to the right place" Blazer said.

"Yes, the presence of demons here is as thick as ever" Slade added.

"Alright then, I have a plan. If you guys-"

"Hold on there missy, we all know how you like to jump into action but remember it was this same type of thing that got us into this mess in the first place" Maverick said.

"I think the one called Gears if I'm correct should make the plan, his knowledge hasn't failed us yet" Slade said.

"Okay I guess" Violet mumbled.

"If that's what you want" Dave said taking in a deep breath then exhaling. "Alright, what we know is that the demons have surrounded the city and are guarding it so that no one gets in, and no one gets out, correct?"

"Correct" the echoed in unison.

"So, our best chance is using are three biggest threats against them to get their attention, Slade, Maverick, Blazer, that's where you guys come in. Maverick, I need you to break through that blockade so that we can get in and then you Slade and Blazer try to make it to where they're opening the portal and try and stop it. Their intrusion is definitely going to draw some attention towards them so Frosty and Wave, you guys try to divert some of them away from them. There are still people stuck in that town as per reports from officials so Violet and I will get them out and then join up with you guys when we're done and win this once and for all" Gears stated.

"Sounds like a decent plan" Wave said.

"Alright guys, let's do this!" Gears chanted stirring their spirits.

"Wait, wait, wait, we need a cool song before we roll out" Blazer said stopping them in their tracks.

"Say what now?" Violet said confused.

"In every movie, when the good guys are going to make their final stand, they always play a killer song so why wouldn't we?"

"I can't believe what I'm about to do" Gears said rubbing his head. "What do you have in mind?"

"The standard songs are usually Thunderstruck, Rock it like a hurricane and Back in Black but we should get a song that's unique" Blazer said.

"Fire away Blazer" Wave said.

"Well after going through every song in my brain, I've gotten the perfect song, well it was a tough choice but let's go with Higher by The Score"

"It's okay I guess" Slade said.

"Alright guys, play away" Blazer said.

"Who is he talking to" Maverick asked Frosty who shrugged his shoulders.

From out of nowhere the music began to play in the background.

"Where is this coming from?" Gears asked.

"Just roll with it man" Blazer said.

"Okay, let's go. You lead the way Maverick" Gears said.

Maverick nodded and blasted off heading straight for the blockade. Demons saw him coming towards the blockade at high speed with the others following behind with their perception being the best in the universe. Maverick threw a solid punch at the blockade breaking into bits and creating a way for them to get into the overrun city.

"Alright Maverick!" Wave cheered.

"You know the plan guys, let's save the world" Gears said.

Maverick kept on flying straight ahead punching through demons advancing towards the center marked with a massive star of the United States on the ground.

"You know you are pretty fast" Blazer said appearing on his right side.

Maverick nodded as they continued to battle demons, Slade flew above with Storm carrying a bow and arrow now shooting down demons as they moved on, Frosty and Wave occupied the town square knowing well a lot of demons would be gathered there as Gears and Violet looked for people to rescue.

On the other hand, the master planner, the one behind the invasion, Gracko a high general among the demon ranks held pandora's box and walked towards the star.

"Master, the humans, they are attacking" the winged demon from earlier said.

"You must stop them at all costs Crackceas" Gracko said in a deep voice, one that sure to strike fear into the heart of his enemies.

"As you command" Crackceas said flying away.

"This world is mine. Tell the diviners to begin the incantations, this portal is the beginning of the demon era on this world and man shall fall once and for all" Gracko said.

On one of the Solomon Islands, a group of fifty dressed in black robes and black markings sat in a circle and began to chant incomprehensive words in the darkness. the chants began to cause the writings on pandora's box to glow letting Gracko smirk.

"It is time" he said.

Maverick stood in the middle of the street seeing demons surrounding him and he couldn't help but smile.

"This should be interesting" he said.

The demons jumped down from the top of buildings and swarmed him from all angles, he smirked unleashing a powerful burst of speed punching a demon in the face producing shockwave that blast all the incoming demons back and turning the demons he punched into nothing but a streak of black blood on the ground.

"My God" Violet said dumbfounded by his ever-increasing strength.

More demons went after him with Maverick punching each and every one away, his eyes moved like a sharingan reading each demon that came with their intent as well, he acted accordingly punching them in the chest or head as his aim was to make it to the star.

Gracko placed Pandora's box dead center on the star and the box opened shooting out a gigantic golden ringed portal into hell.

"Oh no, we're too late" Gears said looking ahead seeing the portal open as he lifted up a broken wall from the entrance of a building allowing people to escape with Violet leading them out.

"We have to shut down this portal, NOW!" Slade said shooting three arrows.

"Copy that" Blazer answered.

Demons ran out of the portal happy to wreak havoc upon the Earth as was deduced from their evil laugh, 15-foot-tall demons carrying giant blades on their shoulders with mild shoulder armor and a helmet. Some fifty feet tall with brass knuckles stomping down on buildings with teeth like spears and faces ever so ugly.

The influx of demons had Frosty and Wave on the back foot with more than they bargained for.

"We have to come up with a new plan" Wave said blasting his cannon hitting some demons.

"What...." Frosty said doing a backflip and splitting a demon in half with a sword of ice.

"Do you....." he now stabbed into the chest of another and then kicked him away.

"Have..." he created a huge ice mallet in his hand.

"In mind" with one powerful swing he smashed the mallet on the head of a 15-foot demon ending it's stay on Earth.

"We could block of streets so that the demons won't have anywhere to go" Wave said releasing swarm missiles.

"And then we could round them up in one area" he said getting hit in the face with a punch.

"And then blow them all up" he finished blasting open the demon's head.

"Great plan but more would keep on coming as long as the portal remains open" Frosty pointed out.

Blazer ran through the streets plagued with demons doing as much as he could, his aim was to get to the portal, but the demons just kept on coming. He landed multiple punches to one's face making it compress in then delivered a mighty blow to the gut of one sending it into a car.

"You demons just don't get tired huh" he said looking at the twenty that stood in his path.

"Alright, here goes" he said.

He began to run in a circle creating a great fiery tornado sucking in demons and scorching them in the process. Cries and wails for help were heard as Blazer turned up the heat burning them all, he stopped, and the flames disappeared as demons dropped to the ground burnt to a crisp.

"Now to get that portal closed"
