Rage and Revenge

Maverick broke through the sound barrier as he propelled himself forward and punched Sun in the head producing a shockwave smashing all the glass in the room and sent him through the wall and into several other rooms. Ramon and Jessica bent down below the control panel shielding them from most of the glass only getting some cuts and bruises.

"Oh shit!" Ramon exclaimed.

Max looked at Clinton and walked up to him slowly, Clinton raised his hands as a sign of surrender as he walked back.

"Maverick, let's talk this out" Clinton said.

Maverick wasn't in the mood for words, and he gave Clinton a backhand slap and out of the window a head flew out merging on the wall. A fountain of blood gushed out of Clinton's head covering Max with part of his blood as his headless body fell to its knees and then totally on the floor. Jessica and Ramon looked at the head of Clinton stuck on the wall with a frightened expression the last he wore on his face.

"He's lost it" Ramon said.

"There's no talking him out of it now" Jessica said.

"So, we're just going to abandon him?" Ramon said.

"He needs to vent out his anger and then we can talk to him" Jessica explained.

"You little maggots are not going anywhere other than six feet in the ground" a voice said from behind them.

They turned around slowly seeing Sun standing behind them.

"This day can't get any worse" Ramon wheezed.

"Come on, take your best shot" Jessica ranted.

"Such confidence" Sun said. "For that, you shall die first"

Sun took off to get a killing blow on Jessica but just before he landed the punch, Maverick speared him through a wall as they began to fight again.

"Right on time" Jessica said.

"Come on Jess, let's get out of here. You know what happens when these two fight" Ramon stated.

They ran through the building past offices as they looked for an exit, it wasn't just them but everyone else in the building. Explosions were heard and machinery destroyed as Max and Sun fought, in their endeavor to escape they ran into some guards.

"They're the ones we're looking for" one said.

"Surrender now" another added as they pointed their guns at them.

Out of nowhere Max and Sun shot out through a wall on their right clearing the guards like bowling pins. Ramon and Jessica continued on their way as Max slapped Sun with a photocopy machine put of a room breaking through the wall.

Sun got up quickly as Max walked towards him with angry footsteps. Sun tried to punch Max in the face, but he caught the punch, Max pulled his hand down and delivered an uppercut the spun around using his heel to kick him in the gut. Sun raised his head seeing his brother flying at him to land a punch, Sun thought he was smart moving out of the way for his brother to run into the wall. Max reacted fast sticking out his arm and grabbed Sun by his collar and dragged him along as well throwing him into whatever was in the room. Sun kicked a table at Max which he gracefully went over, he flew at Sun who timed his strike to perfection hitting his brother through five rooms. He flew at him to land another strike but was met by the sole of Max's shoe running through his face producing a shockwave. Sun ran through the floor panels, before he could recover, Max picked up Sun and spun him around before releasing him to the bottom floors.

Ramon and Jessica neared the exit with an Exodus of people as more and more explosions shooting out because of the battle. Smoke clouded the sky above the Cipher Tech branch in San Francisco, fires raged, and cries of people filled the air as more and more explosions went off. Firefighters and police officers arrived on the scene to try and get things under control, but things continued to cascade. Max and Sun just smashed into the generator room with Max punching Sun through the wall after they had destroyed so many rooms as parts of the building began to collapse.

"I really wonder what that machine did to your brain brother" Sun said panting. "You've totally outclassed me in every way this time" he added.

Max had no answer for him but only a stern look.

"Let's end this!" Sun cried flying towards his brother.

Before Sun could do anymore, Max caught him by the head and slammed him into the ground. Then he punched him once, then twice, the punches increased in speed as he went on. With groans of anger accompanying every punch, Max had gone berserk. The blows sounded like a machine gun releasing a flurry of bullets and we're audible even from outside. People looked at the building heating the pulverizing sounds as it rattled both the building and the whole area. The quakes produced by his punches incapacitated Sun as he was merely a punching bag now, the building rattled and shook violently as more and more of the building began to crash and fall apart. Max landed on final blow sending Sun meters into the ground then he stood up and lifted up his voice like a beast and screamed using all the air in his lungs. He dropped his head then turned to the left seeing the generator still functioning though little debris particles dropped from the ceiling indicating how unstable the entire building had become. He walked towards the generator raising his fist, he picked his spot expertly and punched the generator. It exploded destroying the entire building and all that was within it, the building outside exploded raining debris down.

"Max, what did you do" Jessica said under her breath as the building was no more.

The generator led to more and more catastrophic explosions until what remained of the facility was just pieces of its initial foundation. Search parties were sent out to check for any bodies, totally ignoring that anyone could have survived the blast, Sun was totally buried by rubble and Max was nowhere to be found. Ramon and Jessica stood side by side wrapped by a blanket as they watched the firefighters quench the remaining flames and officers interviewing survivors trying to understand what went wrong.

"Where do you think he is?" Ramon asked.

"I don't know but I'm sure that blast didn't kill him" Jessica asserted.

"It's either he's knocked out somewhere or recovering from the blast" Ramon added.

Without warning, both were whisked into the air as their blanket off.

"What the hell?!" Ramon exclaimed.

"Calm down guys it's me" a familiar voice said.

"Max, where were you?" Jessica demanded.

He had a more composed look now certainly not capable of repeating the same amount of carnage he just did. His wild side was truly chaotic.

"Had to circle around to make sure Sun was down" He answered.

"Who's Sun?" Jessica asked.

"His brother obviously, keep up Jess" Ramon said.

"Damn you Ramon" Jessica said angrily.

As the two began to bicker, Max called their attention.

"Hey guys"

"What?!" they chorused.

"Can't believe you didn't realize you were flying" Max said.

"Oh yeah" Jessica said as she realized where she was.

"Woooooohoooooooo!!!" Ramon chorused soaking in the magnificent night view of the city.

Back at the rubble side, a pile of debris shot out from the ground, Sun floated up fired up with the fury of hell. He shot up into the sky with anger flowing through his veins.

"You may have won this time brother but surely, surely, I will make you suffer. And my revenge shall be felt by the world"
