Heroes Unite

"Glad you could join us Rod" Gears said as he, Wave, and Maverick were currently flying to Bismarck. Wave was on Gears' right and Maverick was on his left.

"Just had to round up with my classes for the day plus I wouldn't miss the opportunity to team up with Maverick" Rodrigo answered.

"The pleasure is mine" Max said.

"Alright guys, let's keep it together. We will arrive Bismarck in no time" Dave said.

The three landed on top of a building looking down into the streets below, it was a bit darker than D.C, maybe it was all thanks to the demons on the loose.

"This place gives me the chills" Rodrigo said rubbing his arms.

"It looks okay to me" Dave said.

"How are we going to find this demon slayer anyway?" Max asked.

"We can't track him nor do we now of his whereabouts. But, with the way demons have been attacking this town lately, an attack is bound to happen and hence draw him out"

An explosion went off in the distance behind them as smoke began to rise.

"Hmmmmm, well that attack seems to be happening now" Wave said.

"Let's go" Maverick said.

"Slade!" A fat big demon called.

He was as big as the one Gears and wave just fought but with shorter horns and claws. He had white eyes with black outlining his eyes, he sported shorter legs and longer more muscular arms and a patch of black hair on his head.

"Where are you hiding boy" the demon added flipping cars over and opening the top of buildings.

"I'm right here demon" a cold voice answered.

In the middle of the street, the demon slayer that appeared in San Fransisco stood in the middle of the street. [Beverly Hills playing in the background].

"Finally" the demon said. "He's mine boys, the rest of you can have fun in the city" he instructed.

Demons six feet tall walked out from behind him sporting large horns and eyes around their head. They immediately began to run after people and destroy the town unleashing havoc. Slade grunted and charged towards them with his sword in hand.

"I'm sending you all back to hell" he said.

He ran right at two chopping them in half then slicing the arm of one from the right side, he pierced through the chest of another on his left then sliced out his sword from its body to take of the head of another demon.

"I said your MINE!" the demon exclaimed slamming its fist into the ground.

He sent a violent quake that tore up the ground and took out his own demons in the process damaging most of the street. Slade jumped in the air over the blast then jumped again like a double jump in a video game as he aimed for the demon. The demon jumped back as Slade his weapon on the floor and ran after him. He slid on the ground through his legs avoiding his sweeping arm as he rotated his body whilst swinging his sword to face the demon and injuring it on its leg. The demon groaned in agony as Slade jumped onto it's back and stabbed him with the sword as it tried to turn around, Slade hung on as he was swinging from side to side. He managed to get a good grip on his sword and good footing on its body as he pulled out his weapon while flipping forward over his shoulder. While in mid-air he was able to cut his shoulder causing him to bleed.

"Aaargh! I will squash you trash" The demon yelled stamping its foot on the ground.

Another wave of debris was sent his way and as he jumped over it the demon punched him sending him into the back of a car. Slade hit it with his back and fell to the ground as his sword fell out of his hand. He struggled to stand up as he had to his sword to get up.

"These things just keep on getting stronger and stronger" he said as he stood up.

"You can't even take one hit from me" the demon chuckled. "And they said you were the strongest slayer around. How weak and puny you humans are" the demon said carrying up a car.

The demon threw it at Slade who was currently flat footed and looked like a deer in headlights as it came its way when all of a sudden it stopped midflight.

"You know, you demons should stop looking down on humans" Maverick said throwing the car back at the demon hitting him in the face and exploding.

Maverick turned around to see if Slade was still there.

"What the, where is he?" he asked himself.

"Over here" Slade said on the other side of the street.

"How do you do that?"

"Stay focused we have much bigger things to attend to" Gears said arriving on the scene with Wave.

"I'll take on the big one, you guys can contain the others" Slade said his voice as expressionless as ever.

"I guess that works" Wave said.

"Oh, and one more thing. Beat them till they pass out" Slade said before darting towards the big one.

"That was harsh" Wave said.

"Okay, Wave and I would take the runaways. Maverick, you can take them head on" Gears instructed.

"I like the sound of that" Max responded slamming his right fist into his left palm.

They departed the scene with Slade making his way through lines of demons advancing to the big one.

"I'm coming for you demons" Maverick announced flying towards them.

He landed in their midst punching the first one that lunged at him, another grabbed him from behind and he broke free from his grip breaking out with his arms before elbowing him in the nose sending him to the ground. He began throwing punches left, right, and center taking down demons in their tens by the minute.

Slade sliced the demon's thigh causing him to hold his left leg as blood rushed out. Slade used this and ran up the demon's arm then jumping of it spinning and twirling in the air acrobatically as he sliced the demon's right horn off as he screamed in agony. He went over his shoulder and threw his sword into his back then held on to it as he made large cut stretching from his shoulder all the way down to where his spinal cord will be.

"This is just the beginning of pain for you demon"

Wave covered the left and Gears covered the right with the two going full battle mode on the demons. Gears used his plasma cannon with increased power to take down demons piling up their unconscious bodies to hip high levels. Wave used his sonic cannon to fire on the ones on the left cutting their breakout short.

"This is hard" Wave said.

"What are you saying, we have the easiest job" Gears said engaging four swarm missiles that emerged from his shoulders and launched them at a group of demons running as fast as they could.

"Not that easy" Wave said as two grenade launchers appeared from his back and fired down at a large group making it past him.

"These things are everywhere; we should come up with a better plan. Acquire more manpower" Wave protested.

"If you think we should take it easy, have a look at Maverick..." Gears said moving to the right and shooting a demon that had jumped at him.

Wave turned and took a quick look. He saw Maverick effortlessly swinging a car like a baseball bat swing from left to right to mow down some demons adding to the huge pile of bodies he had accumulated. He threw the car at some as many jumped down from the surrounding buildings covering him, he overpowered them all pushing them all back with a burst of strength.

"Holy- That guy's a total beast" Wave said amazed.

"And you haven't seen Slade yet" Gears said.

Wave looked at Slade now.

"My ARM!!" the demon screamed holding his right elbow spraying black blood down into the streets as Slade had chopped everything elbow downward clean off.

The demon slayer then took out one of his axes and threw the axe head at his head stabbing into one of his eyes. He pulled himself up with the chain flying to the demon's head and slamming his nose with his knee breaking it as the sound of bones crunching caused Wave to cringe.

"That's insane" he reacted.

"Yes, my dear Wave so get in line and start fighting" Gears said kicking a demon away.

"Hell yeah!" Wave cheered sending a swarm of missiles at demons below.

Maverick punched a demon on his left then one on his right sending them through buildings. "Come on demons, smile for me!"

Max clapped his hands together sending a strong wave taking out multiple demons.

"Crap, civilian woman surrounded by demons" Gears said as he identified her hiding in her car that the demons rocked.

He began to make his way towards her, but more demons jumped at him that he had to blast away.

"Damn you all" Gears said blasting two. "Wave, you free?" he asked.

"Kind of busy here" Wave answered shooting with his laser cannon and sonic cannon on the left and right.

"HELP ME!" the woman cried as the demons rocked the car faster now.

All of a sudden, all the demons dropped on the ground knocked out with a blur of flames and Gears was stunned. Right before his eyes the woman vanished as well with another blur.

"What's going on?" he asked.

A demon jumped from behind trying to get a clean hit but then it froze mid-air and dropped to the ground. He looked down and saw two heroes standing there, the first wore a glossy white suit with a snowflake on his chest. He hovered about two feet in the air before dropping on the ground, he had two long lightning bolt looking lines running from his waist side down to his ankles. His mask was connected to his suit covering only half of his face leaving his mouth open as his eyes were covered by a light blue visor embedded into his mask. Two lines ran from the eye holes all the way back to his neck then stopped. The second wore a black and red suit with red boots and black pants with his top being a mixture of both. It was mainly red but with a stripe running down the middle that was thicker at the beginning spanning to his shoulders but slimmed down as it went down to his waist, his symbol was a blaze of fire. Like the first, his mask was connected to his suit with a red visor at the eye holes and covering half of his face, but the top of the mask was open this time exposing his black afro cut hair. He was a light skinned black boy while the other was Caucasian.

"I don't believe my eyes, it's Blazer and Frosty" Wave said from behind him.

"You better believe it" Blazer the one in the red and black suit answered. He had a British accent.

"What brings you here?" Gears asked.

"Been tracking down demons and discovered that the source was here" Frosty replied with a Scottish accent though not strong.

"Well right now, we need all the help we can get" Gears said.

"We figured" Blazer said.

The two got back to blasting demons from up high as Frosty hovered now and moved forward making an ice mace and wacked demons away as Blazer zoomed off leaving a trail of flames behind him as he went to help Maverick.

Maverick slapped a demon into a shop then uppercut one into the path of his fellow beings causing them to stumble. He head butted one then held one by the horn and spun throwing him into the path of another demon. As he was about to punch another, a blur of flames passed in front of him taking the demon along with him, Max looked confused but prepared to face on the surrounding demons. They lunged at him in unison and were all soon taken out by the blur of flames.

"What's going on here?" he questioned.

"Blazer at your service" a voice said from behind him.

He turned around to face him while punching a demon away.

"I thought I was just seeing things but is that actually the real Maverick?" he said zipping in front of him which took Max by surprise.

"And you're Blazer, right?"

"Yeah"

"Nice to see you two getting along but we have bigger issues here" Frosty said zooming past them both hitting two demons on his left and right.

Max turned around and flew at the demons tearing through them alongside the two new heroes punching anyone that jumped up to meet him in the air. Blazer ran through the demons' landing blows on them faster than the eye could see with Frosty bashing any one in his path, Gears and Wave covered the main square having pushed the demons back. Slade cut off the left leg of the demon causing it to fall being off balance, it was decorated with slashes and cuts showing how much damage did to it with its other horn broken off. He had it crawling away for dear help. Slade also had some light damage to his armor.

"It's the end for you demon" he said walking towards him and casually slicing off the head of an incoming demon.

"Damn you slayer!" the demon yelled.

Slade walked up to it and with a quick its head rolled down on the ground with a look of pain as blood dripped on the ground from its lifeless body. He sheathed his blade back in and just like in San Fransisco, the demons disappeared like ash. He turned to see the heroes that fought regrouping, Maverick stood with Blazer and Frosty then Gears and Wave landed behind them then they all turned to look at Slade. He casually walked towards them with a cold expressionless face. Before anything could be said, a loud roaring engine echoed through the streets.

"I've heard that high octane engine before" Blazer said.

The sound got closer and closer as a Kawasaki Ninja H2R turned in from the right racing towards them. The bike was stock color and its rider a two-faced cape wearer being black from behind and purple from the front and wearing a black helmet. The bike pulled up in front of them stopping effortlessly as the engine was revved twice before being turned off, the stand was kicked out as the bike rested on it. The rider stood in front of them taking of the helmet revealing their identity. It was a female sporting purple hair and a domino mask; her outfit was all black except the big purple V on her chest. Her suit also had a grey utility belt wrapped around her waist where she would keep most of her equipment.

"Hello boys" she said with a commanding tone.
