"You could perform evasive maneuvers. That could buy you enough time before we get to you." Sky volunteered.

"No." John said shaking his head. "How long could we evade its attacks? Can't we throw some lightning bolts at it?"

"Not every problem can be solved by Lightning bolts. That won't work either." Su Ling sighed.

"There's no way that Avyanna or Levi are coming out of that Cave alive. Face it guys. We'll cry a little , mourn for about two minutes and then you write up new characters." Obi spoke discouragely.

"What of if we create a Vortex?" " Sky chipped in. "Since we can't do any bodily harm to the Ushi-Oni, lets send it somewhere it can never come back from. Like Mars."

"I like your thinking girl." Eva beamed. "It isn't Mars but I have something else in mind."

"Even if " John stated. "And that's a huge IF, we wanted to, lets say , go along with this plan , we would need a distraction while you open the Vortex."

Eva took the dice and smirked.

"Don't worry , I have a plan for that."

"Levi , I need you to keep that thing occupied while I do something." Avyanna said as she turned away from him.

"Just be quick about it." Levi retorted.

Eva tossed the die.

Cutting the symbol of a pentagram with an eye in the middle into her hand , Avyanna sighed. "Sorry Old Friend, but I need your help again."

Placing her bleeding hand she placed it on the ground .

"Golden Celestial Dragon Ryujin : I summon thee!"

As quick and slithery like a serpent , a majestic Dragon appeared to them. It had

a proud posture with its Golden hair standing up behind it. Long wavy whiskers shook from its mighty breath while its great claws dug deep into the earth .Its scales were golden as its long tail floated behind it.

"What the..." Levi stared in wonder before the Ushi-Oni slammed him into a wall .

It growled and baring its sharp teeth , It breathed on Avyanna face.

Avyanna opened her eyes and she was standing on top of water. But she knew this wasn't water because she had been here before.

"Why do you summon me , mortal?!" The Celestial Dragon asked angrily.

"I need your help to defeat the Ushi-Oni ." Avyanna replied.

"And why should I help you , You mere human?" The dragon snarled.

"Because this mere human still has your Genkirin." She took out a golden Scale from inside her pouch and held it up to him. It was the The Celestial Dragon's Reverse Scale.

It was a dragon's scale that grew along with them from birth never shedding. There was only one exception: That was a scale that grew in reverse. It was located under their necks and that was where all the dragons heart blood was converged making it their weak point.

Taking this from a Dragon and a very powerful one at that, incurred their Imperial Wrath. But if the individual managed to stay alive, He would be able to take the dragon and summon it at will.

Except in this Case it was She that retrieve it in their duel a long time ago when as an upcoming Magus she needed an Attendance Spirit.

But this particular Dragon was a bit Too Supercilious making him harder to take than the rest since he took Pride in being the Strongest Dragon.

Avyanna took a deep breath. "I don't want to control you or use you to my whims Ryujin. I just require your assistance." Avyanna said .

The dragon stared at her for a few minutes as if reading her soul. Then finally it spoke majestically. "I will help you Mortal, but only on my terms. You are to first, hand over my Genkirin before I Proceed to Constrict your enemy.

Avyanna furrowed her brows. "How am I sure that you'll keep to your end of the bargin?"

The Dragon became enraged. "We Dragons are honourable creatures and we always keep out Word!"

"Sheesh ...Calm down. l will agree to your terms. " Avyanna agreed to his terms as she knew that was the best offer she would get. She opened her palms and the scale lifted into the air before it was finally reattached underneath the Celestial Dragon's Neck.

The Ryujin lowered its head as a final gesture of respect because although Avyanna was a mere mortal,One had to admire someone who could have tamed A Dragon as wild as he.

Avyanna bowed too and soon she was back to reality. Levi was panting beside her as he braced himself for another round with the Monster. She held him back then he gave her an inquisitive look and she winked.

"Just leave it to it."

Eva shook the die once more.

"ATTACK!!!"

The Dragon screeched, lurched itself with great force towards the Ushi-Oni . It entwined itself around the monster. Squeezing it tight , The Ushi-Oni struggled to escape but ended up Making the binding worse.

Desperately trying to escape , it Dug one of its Sharp legs deep into the Dragon's back that it Forced the Ryujin to release its grasp. Realizing it was outmatched,

The Ushi-Oni dived into A large river nearby as it disappeared beneath the surface. The Dragon roared as it Hovered above the surface on the water searching for the Ushi-Oni.

Without warning, The monster leaped out of the water , grasping the Dragon's Neck and Attempted to pull the Ryujin into the water. The Dragon moved in a frenzied manner as he threw the Monster against the Earth. Opening its mouth, It breathed down a rain of Fire on the Ushi-Oni and it was badly damaged.

Avyanna stretched her hand towards the creature as a Vortex opened up with a number of Chains reached through the hole and began pulling the Ushi-Oni into its inescapable pull.

It strifed with great effort and was about to escape once more when Levi appeared on front of it .

John tossed the die.

"Fatal Combat : Death Strike!"

He delivered a deadly punched that sent the Monster flying through the Vortex as it closed up.

Avyanna smiled as the Celestial Dragon gliding and weaving its way through the Skies , as it soared higher and higher into the heavens.

"Where did you send that thing?" Levi asked.

"The Ushi-Oni you mean? the realm of monsters of course. I'm sure it'd be right at home there." Avyanna jested lightly .

Conrad and the others came in to help them. Percival held his wounded arm and Kyra nursed some bruises.

But everyone was glad to be alive.

"Levi!" Conrad said with fake enthusiasm. "Am I glad to see you. FYI, I was the one that said we should rescue you so if you feel the need to thank me , You can go ahead."

Levi looked at the others who shook their head.

"Nah. I don't think so."

Gathered at the feet of the mountain, The villagers were cheering for the adventurers. The Adventurers waved back to the adoring crowd who were chanting their praises.

"Is this how it was to be a god?" Avyanna whispered to Levi who was standing beside her.

"No. This is better." He replied in the same tone and in his mind he added. "Especially with you by my side."
