EP 49 - WE'RE ALL DEAD?!

Eva putting on her sneakers in the sitting room when she heard her mother's phone ring.

"Mom, Someone's is calling!" She yelled.

Betsy immediately came down the stairs and answered the call. It was from the office . Afte a few minutes she set the phone down.

"Who was it?"Eva asked.

"Its my Boss. Apparently a house on Kingston and Third had just been put up for Sale and He wants me to be their Realtor. "

Eva was surprised.

Wasn't Obi's home in that area?

"Did he...I don't know... give you the house number?" Eva said coyly.

"Yeah , its 31st Kingston and Third. What about it Eva?"

It was Obi's house. The only thing that made her think was...

Why was his house up for sale.

Suddenly her dad Breezed in and gave her mother a peck in the cheek cutting her line of thoughts.

He hustled her in his Car and soon she was off to school.

The air was filled with tension as the individuals who made up THE ADVENTURERS SOCIETY sat round the table in Su ling's house.

Eva actively avoided John glances while John wasn't his usual chirpy self. Obi wasn't in the least bit focused as he was scribbling in his notebook, tearing it out and writing it all over again. He only looked up once and it was John's expensive dressing that caught his eye.

Particularly his Watch.

If he could just have that all his problems would be over, a part of him thought.

Obi shoved that thought down and dumped it in the trash.That wasn't how his mother raised him.

And he wasn't going to disappoint.

Sky noticed all this and had a feeling that this adventure wasn't going to go smoothly at all.

Su ling cleared her throat and brought them back to the present.

Eva was jolted out from her thoughts and was brought back to reality.

"Let's continue from where we stopped shall we?"

Although her upper body remained the same, Scylla had six snaky heads that looked like a dragon, each with a triple row of shark - like teeth. She had six heads of baying coyotes encircling her waist with Twelve tentacle -like legs and the tail of a cat, Letting her gobble up any sailor within her reach.

Levi held his Sword as Kyra and the others came to his Side.

"By God, what the F**k is that?"Percival exclaimed in disgust.

"What's up with her waist?" Kyra questioned and leaned forward to get a better view.

"How did hell are we ever going to get close enough to kill her?" Conrad yelped in despair.

"Only one person has slain the Scylla in the past." Levi stated.

"Why can't we ask that person for help? We can't possibly kill this thing ?!"Percival told him.

"That's a great idea!!!!!" Levi replied. "Why didn't I think of that? Oh right... He's dead!"

"Quit arguing and let us think of a way to fight it." Avyanna barked.

The Scylla swung a tentacle in their direction and they all docked. All the men on the ship were cowering for safety as She threw some of them overboard.

Conrad watched all these from their hiding spot. "Whatever we are going to do, You better do it fast."He reminded.

"There's only one way. We need to offer it six men so that the ship can escape while its chowing them down." Levi spoke.

"There's no way we're doing that!!!! That isn't what we stand for!" Avyanna vehemently objected.

"Its killed or be killed and I very much enjoy life."Levi countered .

"Guys whatever you want to do,hurry up cos this thing is headed our way!!" Kyra shouted.

"We are not sacrificing anyone. " Avyanna said finally. "Lets Go."

They all got up as Levi sighed. "When we eventually get chewed to death, Remember that we could have avoided it."

Sky held the dice and rolled.

Percival slashed across the creature and cut of Three of her tentacles. Blood splurted out as Scylla roared.

Roll Initiative.

Kyra aimed for the rest of her tentacles. If she succeeded in cutting them off , They would have a chance at ending the Scylla once and for all. She raised her huge Scythe. "Death Strike: Wrath of Devils!!!!"

Four huge tentacles fell into the water. The Scylla was now weak. Since she was sincerely wounded, she had retreat and heal as was her usual strategy.

John rolled effortlessly.

Levi charged towards the Scylla but due to his carelessness he did spot when one of coyotes attached to her waist made his ways towards him .Their razor sharp teeth held tightly onto his arm as its jaws closed upon Levi's arm. He bore the pain and was about to reach for his Sword when another head snatched him up and devoured him.

Percival went to give aid to Levi and succeeded in wounding her severely but unfortunately the remaining part of his tentacles caught him and coiled around him.

Kyra could only hear his agonizing screams from being split apart. When the Scylla was done, she threw his remnants into the deep blue sea.

Eva tossed the dice.

Avyanna closed her eyes and muttered an invocation.

Numerous and huge flaming balls of fire headed straight towards the Monster as it Shrieked in pain. Avyanna took out her Katana . This was the perfect opportunity .

She went straight for its head , since that was its second weak point as her heart was blocked by the heads of the baying dogs. Avyanna was struck from the sky by one Strands of her shaky hair as a powerful bite from one of them administered a deadly Venom that spread through her vein like wildfire.

Kyra tried to save her but She was gone . She screamed for Conrad to help her but...
