EP 37- A PAINFUL DISCOVERY .
Eva snuck into her mom's room. It was a Thursday and Betsy was still at work .
Eva decided this was her time to strike.
She carefully opened up her mothers wardrobe and began searching through it. She saw her Makeup kit which included lipstick, lip gloss, Powder, eyeliner and more but these weren't what Eva wanted.
She smiled to herself when her hand touched her mom's hair brush. It was exactly what she needed.
Since Betsy wouldn't tell her the truth...
She was going to get it herself.
Eva pulled out a few strands of hair tangled inside the brush and put them in a paper bag . She was going to get her mom's DNA and compare them to hers in the hospital.
Eva had no idea what she would do even if she found out Betsy was her biological mother.
"I'll cross that bridge when I come to it" She reasoned.
After depositing the 'Samples' in a place her mother would never think to look ...
Trust me You don't want to KNOW where.
Eva gave a glance at her watch .
"Shit !"She muttered . They were meeting up at John's house today and she was already running late.

Eva took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes.,At least her's wasn't as bad as Skylar.

"Really?! " She exclaimed.
"Welcome to the Club." Obi smiled.
The five hit the ground abruptly heaving a great sigh.
"Ouch!!!!" Conrad complained."Next time, can you drop us in a place a little bit softer."
"Don't worry, next time I'll drop you in a pit of lions." Avyanna bit back.
Kyra sat on the ground . The wound on her abdomen slowly closed in on itself and appeared brand new as if she had never been injured.
She moved to Percival. He was still bleeding but not that much.
They had to get him medical care.
Percival used his bloody hands to hold Avyanna's shoulder. "Get me to the Palace now! There's a healer there." He groaned.
"Can't you heal yourself?" She quizzed.
"It doesn't work that way. I heal others not myself." Percival groaned again.
"So what is the use of it if you can't help yourself?" Levi scoffed while Kyra nudged him with her elbow.
"He will die before we get there. Can't you do some magic stuff and heal him?" Conrad told Avyanna.
"I'm not really trained in that aspect." She said embarrassed.
"And you say your a mage??",Levi put a hand to his head.
"I am a Mage!"Avyanna countered. " But sort of a Mage - in -Training."
"Ehem..." Percival cleared his throat. "Excuse me, but I'm dying over here?"
"Lets take him into the village. There must be someone that can be of help to him".
"So who is going to do It?" Conrad asked.
"Not it!! " putting their thumb on their nose.Obi, John and Su ling said simultaneously.
"Ugh!" Avyanna exclaimed . But since she didn't say "Not it " First , she was saddled with the responsibility of this devotee bundled in a pile of armor .
"Well go after the Dragon and trace its location and we will all meet back here." Levi commanded and each of them set off to achieve their goals.
Percival vision was getting blurry. Last he saw was Avyanna coming close to him and he blacked out .

Percival slowly opened his eyes.
Painfully, he dragged himself out of the bed. He looked out the window.
Every where was cherry as children played in the streets. It was then Percival realized he was in the village.
He looked back to the room he was. Avyanna lay asleep near the wall due to fatigue while a bowl containing the mixture of various herbs was by the bed he was previously lying on.
Suddenly an idea struck him. He had the chance. He could just pay her a surprise visit.
But by now she could have been married or had children." Another thought occurred to him. But he was determined to try.
He put on his armor , careful not to touch the wound on his chest and not wake the girl sleeping . With this, Percival exited the room and went out into the fresh air.

He stumbled across the streets trying to find her house. He only remembered it being surrounded by flowers. Roses, Daffodils, Sunflowers, Poppies, Tulips and her personal favourite, Orchids.
After much asking around with difficulty, Percival finally found her house.It was much older and all the flowers had withered.
With doubt rising in the back of the throat, not knowing what surprises awaits him,he knocked on the door .
It creaked open and he stood face to face With an old lady.he greeted the old lady.
"Excuse me ma. I am looking for a girl named Michelle Dunis. She lives in this house."
The old woman looked weirdly at him. "Michelle died a few years ago. She caught the plague and fell sick."She became very sick and with no care nor treatment she eventually died.
At these words , Percival head began to spin. He walked away staggering .
It wasn't real.
Or that was what he told himself.
He saw Michelle's bright smile, her beautiful laugh, her lovely golden hair , bright green eyes and her full lips. Percival pictured her tears accusing him of leaving her to die alone.
Her greatest fear.
He had promised her he was always going to be by her side . Percival had already proposed and was going to marry her if not Ulrich had convinced him to join the Paladins. He chose religion over his love for her, hoping he was going to make a difference in the world.
But right now , Percival had just made a painful discovery , one that he had always known deep down...
That he had been lied to.
Some one was going to take the fall.
And Percival knew exactly who it was.
